Dr. Brian Jeffrey Bear

Enjoyed working with him collaborating on my health issues from fibroids and there removal and diagnosis of other health concerns.

Dr. Bear is the greatest. He genuinely appears to care about his patients and their health. Had it not been for Dr. Bear's attention to detail, I very well could have miscarried my daughter. Dr. Bear did not hesitate to place me on bedrest only four months into my pregnancy (even though I initially protested this restriction). Being the great doctor that he is, he referred me to a specialist IMMEDIATELY to address issues that were beyond his expertise. My daughter (now 5) and I are forever grateful for his care, concern, and professionalism through a very difficult time.

Dr. Bear was quite simply the best of all the doctors we interviewed to help bring our child into the world. He was kind, compassionate and very easy to work with. We looked forward to our visits with him to chart the growth of our family.

Dr. Bear is so compassionate, caring, friendly, easy to talk to, and makes you feel so comfortable! I would recommend him to everyone!!

My neighbor is a delivery nurse at St. Joe's. I went to Dr. Bear and thought he was a little creepy. When I told my neighbor, she told me I needed a new OB - all of the nurses there think he's lazy and two-faced. I asked her if any of them went to him when they were pregnant and she just laughed.

I know that women say they like to go to female doctors - but I don't. Brian Bear has more compassion for his patients than any doctor I have ever known. I have been a patient of his since his first year in practice. I continue to see him despite the fact that he has become an Aurora doctor and I loathe Aurora. Need someone to both listen and hear you? Need some handholding? Need information about your condition and your options? Need someone to put you at ease during those awkward exam moments? Would you like a doctor who actually spends as much time with you as you need or want? Brian Bear is the only person I know who who can fulfill all of these needs.What more can I say?

I felt immediately at ease with Dr. Bear. He connects and listens. What a gift. I especially appreciated his sense of humor and warmth. He took the scary out of the unknown and I highly recommend him.

Dr. Bear was very reassuring about our pregnancy but it turns out he was missing important warning signs that our baby was doing poorly. Then he was all friendly and caring when he was trying to hush it all up. I wish I had known before that the high-risk newborn doctors have to be at all of his deliveries but not at all of the other ob's deliveries.

Dr. Bear is excellent. His bedside manner is great. He takes the time with his patients and is funny, but serious when it's necessary. I trust him to give me excellent advice and would not recommend any other ob/gyn. He has a busy practice and is worth waiting for. When you need something he is there for you and makes you feel like the most important patient. I know that when I am waiting for my appointment because he is delayed, he is doing the same for another patient as he has done for me.

Dr. Bear was able to diagnose my problem, assign tests before making dates for any type of surgery. Once we found out the problem, he allowed me to come in 2 weeks before the procedure to make sure I was comfortable with making this decision. He's patient, courteous, and caring. I'm glad my family recommended him!
