Dr. Brian Bobb, MD

Dr. Bobb was born and raised in the Austin area. Recognizing his passion for serving others and for the sciences early on, he chose to attend St. Stephen’s Episcopal School in Austin to expand his knowledge and experience prior to beginning his undergraduate education. After graduating from St. Stephen’s, Dr. Bobb matriculated at Lyon College, in Batesville, Arkansas. Lyon is a small, liberal arts college which prioritizes personal interactions between professors and students as well as student leadership. Lyon provided the opportunity for Dr. Bobb to interact closely with many professor mentors as well as his fellow undergraduates and further develop not only his academic skill set but also hone his ability to connect with others and to lead. It was at Lyon that Dr. Bobb met his wife, Dripping Springs General Dentist, Dr. Heather H. Bobb. Subsequent to their graduation from Lyon, the Bobb’s married and relocated to San Antonio where both pursued their doctoral training at the …University of Texas Health Science Center (UT Health). Upon completing his studies at UT Health Long Medical School and receiving his medical doctorate, Dr. Bobb chose to continue his training as a resident physician at the Washington Family Medicine Residency in Washington, Pennsylvania to increase the breadth and depth of his medical knowledge. After being selected as Chief Resident and completing his residency, Dr. Bobb received his board certification from the American Board of Family Medicine and has practiced as a family medicine and urgent care physician as well as serving in leadership as a medical director for each organization with which he has been affiliated. In the summer of 2008, Dr. Bobb and his family were blessed to move back home to central Texas (Dripping Springs specifically) where he, his wife, and two daughters have resided since. Dr. Bobb is honored to be a part of a great team at Premier Family Physicians caring for the community of Dripping Springs and the surrounding area. Outside of medicine, Dr.Bobb enjoys spending time with his wife and family, hiking, running, traveling the amazing world in which we live and meeting its diverse and inspiring inhabitants.Care Philosophy“I believe that the key to the success of a physician-patient team is connection and subsequent partnership. It is critical that the physician and patient establish mutual goals, whether for the treatment of a short-term illness or injury or for the establishment and execution of a long-term care plan. Once this relationship is established, the physician is then able to recommend the most appropriate course of action to achieve these common goals and is best equipped to advocate for the patient with other members of the care team. Partnering with an individual or family to achieve the best possible outcome from that person or family’s perspective is the most rewarding aspect of my role as a physician.”
