Dr. Brian Brislin, MD

I saw Dr. Brislin on multiple occasions and, unfortunately, had a very poor experience. At each visit, it appeared he had little to no familiarity with my case—he did not seem to recall prior appointments, and it did not appear that my records, imaging, or history had been reviewed in advance. Much of the appointment time was spent briefly looking at my MRI, rather than discussing a comprehensive understanding of my condition. There were repeated inaccuracies in my care, including confusion about which knee was affected and inconsistencies in my medical history. More concerning, my cartilage injury was repeatedly characterized as a “grade 2” based solely on MRI visibility, despite my operative report clearly documenting a full-thickness grade 4 lesion in a critical weightbearing area. This distinction is significant and directly relates to my ongoing symptoms. I felt that my concerns were dismissed, and I was not provided with a clear plan of care despite ongoing mechanical… dysfunction and significant pain. He has a terrible bedside manner and is quite rude; he at one point stated that I simply needed to "lower my expectations" (implying I was supposed to just deal with the dysfunction and pain). Recommendations such as discontinuing physical therapy and seeking unrelated evaluations had already been explored and did not address the underlying issue. Overall, I left without guidance or a path forward. I have since sought care elsewhere and am now working with a physician who has taken the time to fully review my case, correctly diagnose my injury, and provide a clear, proactive path forward.

Brislin is awesome and his staff I would recommend him for tramatic rotator cuff surgery

I have had the pleasure of knowing Dr Brian since 2010 I made an appointment to see Dr Brian March 2025 the office visit his knowledge and helpfulness set the stage to have my right knee replaced in May of 2025 his personality and demeanor was awesome Great doctor listened to what I had to say and understood my concerns I will be seeing him in not too distant near future I will have to have my left knee replaced . I must say he is one of the most caring doctors I've ever had the pleasure of knowing

Dr. Brislin is a great surgeon as well as an amazing person to meet. He ensures that everything is going to be ok & if you have questions, just ask. His staff is awesome as well! The team is too funny! They are supportive & understanding as well as patient with myself during my experiences. I've been under their care more than once & will continue to seek their professional & kind demeanor!

Dr. Brislin was very though, I trusted him with my shoulder replacement and was very happy with the outcome! Very professional and knowledgeable.

I love that Dr. Brislin takes time to listen to your concerns and then works with you to come up with a plan of attack.
