Dr. Brian Chodoroff is a medical physician specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. A native of Detroit, he received his undergraduate and medical education at Wayne State University. He received his specialty training at the University of Michigan where he served as Chief Resident in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. Following graduation he joined Dr. Handelsman in Chelsea. Together they began the Chelsea Back Care program in 1986 to best serve those with back and neck disorders. He also has special interests in caring for a wide range of non-spine related musculoskeletal disorders, brain injury and stroke. Dr. Chodoroff is also an accomplished specialist in electromyography and is the Medical Director of the well respected Chelsea Community Hospital Inpatient Rehabilitation Program. Other honors and accomplishments have included having been chosen to serve as the Chief of Staff of CCH, and having been presented with the Best Doctors in America designation.

I’ve been going to Dr. Chodoroff for several years. He is retiring as of today. I shall totally miss him, but hope he has a splendid retirement.

Always thorough and caring. Hes a good doctor and a good person. Always makes me smile. He has a great sense of humor and great insight.

Dr. Chodoroff is by far the best Dr. I have ever had. He has literally saved .My life 4 times. There aren't enough wonderful things that could be said.

By far, the BEST doctor around. Patient friendly, very caring, and very knowledgeable in his field. Would not go to anybody else for back issues.

By far the best doctor i have had out of 4 doctors, let me know we will work on this together, not willing to give up on me, patient, knowledgeable, respectful, and when in hosiptal very good bed side manners and spent quality time to make sure all the facts were correct before diagnosed. Very BLESSED.

Dr Chodoroff is an amazing doctor. Most of the people who answer calls are pretty rude and act like you're annoying them by calling but I still go back because of Dr. Chodoroff.
