Dr. Brian Mullin Clark, MD

Dr. Clark is amazing. I was having endometriosis surgeries every 2-3 years. The last surgery I had with him was 2012. It is now 2023. Every year I had during that time was a gift from that horrible illness. I am now 51, not feeling well. A few things were found on a CT scan. I am going to make an appointment to discuss if I need another cleanout and to discuss my results. Having him as a surgeon changed my life.

This doctor and his staff did not, let me repeat, did not, do their homework at all, and the result was poor performance

Not prepared at all when we first met with him even though there was plenty of time to review the case

I struggled for a long time with fibroids. Even during the chaos of coronavirus, Dr Clark was still willing and able to make sure I had a better quality of life and I am forever grateful.

I suspected that I was having early miscarriages around my period except that I never got a positive test. Unfortunately, Dr Clark told me that it was impossible that I was getting pregnant every month given my age, as women my age have a 5% chance of pregnancy. I asked for progesterone which he generously prescribed orally, but now I know that progesterone needs to be given vaginally or intramuscular to be effective. We tried hCG shots one month which did not make a difference. These can make a difference if you have thin lining issues from what I researched. The hCG blood tests were also showing up negative per the office. I think that I was getting them drawn too late but the office also never notified me of results. It was not until consulting with an MD at CCRM in Boston, who also did not believe that I was getting pregnant every moth, but prescribed progesterone to be taken vaginally, that I had my first positive pregnancy test but miscarried at 6 weeks. Going the IVF… route now, but I would not personally recommend Boston IVF, where Dr Clark's refers. The atmosphere was cold and seems like they don't have as good results as other clinics. Would recommend CCRM, however. In short, Dr Clark was very kind at the beginning of my treatment and I was grateful that he listened to some of my suggestions of treatment. However, when I started to push back, I could tell he was getting frustrated. His office staff can also be less than responsive. Took many phone calls to get my records transferred to CCRM. Through all of this, became empowered to know my own body and cycles which is vital. Take charge of your fertility because you'll get better care this way. Would recommend the following resources: "Taking Charge of Your Fertility" (book), "Conceivability" (book) "Fertility Friday" (podcast) and acupuncture. I only hope that this is read and learned from. No one is perfect.

Being riddled with health issues in addition to today's constant battle with health insurance, I'm not sure where I would be without Dr. Clark. He listens...really listens! He cares and does what's best for his patients. I'm beyond thankful I was referred to him!

I donâ??t know how he is because I have very bad experience from his office located in 119 Belmont st Worcester. The staffs that work in front disk and make schedule and appointment are very rude and they donâ??t know how to treat the patient; they keep the patient on hold for hour and then hanging the phone. Now I am confused if the offices staffs are like this how with be the doctors there. Should I keep my appointment with him or cancel?
