Dr. Brian Thaddeus Clista, MD

I can honestly say that some of the staff here that are wonderful. Especially Eugenie the PA. However, there are some like Kristin CRNP and this guy that are beyond horrible. I can’t even call him a doctor. I’ve heard stories about Clista from other parents saying he is the worst Dr. they’ve ever encountered, he misdiagned a baby who had pneumonia as asthma etc...but then we met him... We took a 4 year old for a sick visit since everyone else in the house had sinus infections and the child was showing the same symptoms. First Kristin comes in with her normal dismissive attitude, checks her lungs and says there is nothing wrong. Then says well maybe her deep chest cough is just asthma (which she doesn’t have!?) finally she does an instant strep test which she said was negative. Then Kristin brings this idiot Clista in the room, he checks her lungs and also says they are clear. Then looks at this child with green snot coming out of her nose and says we need to get a blood test for… KAWASAKI DISEASE an extremely rare unheard of disease as in 1/300,000 kids get it...She has a sore throat, deep cough, fever and congestion! Then he wrote a Rx for a chest X-ray. When asked WHYYYY if you two both said her lungs are clear would we need a CXR and why a child with symptoms of sinus infection needs a blood test? And Even though a few minutes ago he said her lungs were clear but now wants to check her for pneumonia! He said “Well I don’t have X-ray ears!” He told us pneumonia and sinus infections would both be treated with the same antibiotic but refused to treat our child until we got a blood test done on a sick 4 year old!? My husband ripped the Rx up and threw it away and walked out of the office. 3 days later the office called saying our child was in fact positive for strep throat and needed an antibiotic but then argued with me about the fact this child can not take Augmentin!!! What is wrong with these people? Although it would seem obvious to everyone we were never coming back to this horrible place they sent a letter saying they wanted a meeting and apology from my husband for ripping up the ridiculous blood test or they would no longer be the child’s primary care. Healthqeust, you definitely do not have to worry about that! I will never take my child there again. Worry that I would make this public, worry that I will report this but don’t worry about us ever coming back!

Dr. Clista is an excellent doctor. Both my 15 year old, and my nine year old son's like and trust him. His office runs so smoothly, like no other doctor's office I've ever been in before. In the morning the have sick visits until 11, and then in the afternoon they have well checks, with more sick visits in the evening. You can scedule an appointment if you want/need to, but I've never had a problem getting in when I've need to see a doctor! Excellent
