If it were possible to assign a negative rating, I would do so. Brian Cook’s conduct during my daughter’s labor and delivery was negligent and dismissive. From the moment he arrived, he appeared inconvenienced by her labor rather than attentive to her medical needs. Due to improper care and the inappropriate use of a vacuum during delivery, my granddaughter suffered severe injuries and was born with cerebral palsy. Immediately after birth, she required life-saving transport to Riley Hospital, where she remained for nearly a month. After delivering the baby, Brian Cook left the room without checking on my daughter or demonstrating concern for the newborn’s critical condition. Out of respect for my daughter’s privacy, I will not detail every failure in care; however, the outcome speaks for itself. I strongly advise anyone who is pregnant or expecting to seek care from a different provider.

This seems to be rare, but he is a doctor that actually listens to his patients wants and needs. I had been trying to get sterilized since I was 18. I have never wanted children and I still don't. I have told this to 3 other doctors throughout my life--at 18, 21, and 25. All of them told me I didn't know what I would want or my insurance would just say no. First visit with Dr. Cook, he just discussed what would happen and if I wanted that. Y'all I cried when I left that appointment. At 30 years old, my desires were actually taken seriously, and I got sterilized a few weeks later. I thanked that man so many times, but he just said he was doing his job. He didn't understand how much him doing his job meant to me. Thanks Dr. Cook! tl;dr: He will let you have bodily autonomy.

He exposed me to medication and ultrasound then refused to do the IUI procedure because I expressed my dissatisfaction with the late waite

His negligence during my daughter's birth is the reason my daughter died 8 years ago! He is an idiot. Avoid him for the safety of your unborn children

I used to like Dr. Cook, but now I think he might have given me a "husband stitch" after I tore during delivery. BEWARE. Everyone should know about husband stitches before delivering a baby – I wish I had.

I have never had a better gynecologist. Not only was Dr. Cook very sensitive, but he was extremely knowledgeable and went to great lengths to make sure that I understood all issues regarding my health. I have had two appointments with him, and he has never made me feel rushed or unimportant. I have come away from my visits feeling well-informed and much more secure about my general well-being. It's not often you find a doctor like this. I would highly recommend him.

I did not like dr. Cook at all he cut my daughters forehead during a c-section she now has a huge scare on her head after the c- section I never seen him again he never came and said sorry or explained how or why it happend to me or my husband he is a horrible dr he dose not care about his patients at all his bedside manner is pethatic.

Dr. Cook recently did my c-section. I was hesitant to have a c-section, but he explained all the options and risks for each option, and was very thorough and patient in doing so. My recovery time was very quick, and I had very little pain after the first 4-5 days. If I have any more pregnancies, I would prefer to have him as my doctor again. I would definitely recommend him to someone else.

Spent less than 5 min with me during OB appt. Didn't feel he was listening to my concerns.
