Dr. Brian Patrick Delahoussaye, MD

Wonderful MD had a great visit, he is very knowledgeable and explained all my concerns and questions I had. Will be back in the near future. Thank you for your help with my concern I learned a lot about my condition, support staff very friendly and helpful. Office staff great, and very accommodating. Thank you for a great visit to all the staff.

Dr. Delahoussaye is unethical and does not do what is in the best interest of the patient. Integrion Group hires him and in turn he does what they dictate. His IR rating exam consisted of measuring my thigh and calf. He says very inappropriate things to patients during vulnerable times. Please stay away from this practice. I was forced to go to him and it has just made my situation worse. Staff refuses to return messages as well as Dr. Worst Unethical Physician Ever.

No bedside manner. Rude staff. Filthy office. Argumentive and does not listen. Holier than though attitude. Rudest doctor I ever encountered.

Referred to this Dr for physical therapy. I pay a lot for my appointments through my insurance so I expect help. I also have 5 herniated discs, 4 bulges, 3 bone spurs, my sciatic nerve is permanently damaged from another local Dr that list his license, and I have issues with my coccyx from a bag break that contributed to the other back issues. I've had numerous MRIs over the years so these are facts. I'm not on any pain meds, nor have I been in years (except the first few days after surgeries). I waited several painful hours to be seen, sitting or standing for long periods is torture for me. Then he only discussed that pain, from waiting to see him, when I complained of it due to having to wait so long. He didn't believe ANY of the previous diagnosis, didn't even look at the films, and just went over proper posture, how to get in/out of chairs correctly, etc. Oh! He did put me on an inversion table. Thought that that would "cure" my pain. Not sure how I was to incorporate that into my… home therapy plan. But OMG when I came back up, I had no feeling in my legs and slid to the floor. Stretching out my bad discs, then suddenly having them all back quickly, caused my nerves, that your spine protects, to get sandwiched in between. It took weeks to get back to my "normal" and the help of the SW Sport & Spine Center, who my insurance wouldn't cover, so I paid cash to go see. Even on disability, with cash tight, it was money well spent. So no, can't say as I recommend this Dr.

I would give zero stars if possible. Worst bedside manner I've ever witnessed!!! Long wait and once you finally see the Dr. he just quotes statistics, tries to question diagnosis' from other specialists that are beyond his scope of practice, and refuses to even attempt to listen to the patient! Dr. Delahoussey is condescending, egotistical, and very judgemental. I will NEVER go back!!!

"Dr. D" did what other doctors failed to do: correctly diagnose my problem. I told him I had a bad back, but he quickly realized that the problem was in my hips. He is extremely competent and knowledgeable, and a good communicator. Highly recommended.

I was referred to Dr. Delahoussaye. I traveled from out of state to see him. I stood at the receptionist counter for 15 minutes before I was acknowledged. Then the lady was rude to me. I waited a good hour to be called back. The nurse took my blood pressure, temperature and looked in my ears and mouth. When Dr. Delahoussaye finally came in he listened to my chest and heart.. He asked about the medications I was taking (in 2 years I have had them filled 3 times, that's a total of 60 pills) I take them only when I can know longer deal with my pain. He said I think your doing ok. End of appointment. On my way out I stopped to ask the nurse if they had taken a copy of the paper I had brought. She sent another nurse to ask the doctor. When she came back she said I need to draw some blood and get a urine specimen. What? Ok whatever. I then asked for the results to be emailed to me. She said that she couldn't do that. I said I signed a paper that says yes you can. Something weird is going on… at that office. Steer clear if at all possible.

Dr. Delahoussaye treated me at Northridge Hospital in CA back in 1985-1987. He treated me with respect. Once he was on my case, he believed what I was telling him about herniate lower back discs, did the appropriate tests and followed through with surgical specialists to make sure I was treated properly. Dr. Delahoussaye spent two hours with me. He did a very thorough exam and explained everything very well. He is wanting to help me regain my life and not just give meds. I appreciate the time he took with me and think he is very concerned toward the care of his patients.

He spends most of his time talking about himself and bragging about how good he is. If he spent a fraction of that time listening to his patient and providing appropriate care and treatment, he might actually become as good as he seems to think he is.
