Dr. Brian Richard Drabik, DO

Dr Drabik is great. Takes time to listen to your issues then comes up with a solution for you.

First let me give credit where credit is due, he is a good Dr,were he lacks is communication,I really don't know where he gets off talking to patients like he does,me and him had a breakdown of communication from the very beginning,I am suffering with Urethral Strictures,very painful,this all started when I refused to sit in a chair and let him run a camera up my urethra,I had a catheter ran up there a few weeks earlier with numbing gel because of blockage and the pain was unlike anything I have ever experienced, second time I was laying in the hospital bed waiting to go in and the anesthesiologist was asking me if I had anything to eat or drink and I told him I had a little sip to take my morning meds before I came in, he advised me that he would have me wait a bit longer to be safe and left, Dr Drabik entered my room and began to treat me like a child and said he shouldn't even go forward with my surgery for my lack of following his directions, and he belittled me in front of… hospital staff that were just outside my room's door,they were shaking their heads and rolling there eyes at the way he was coming down on me,after he left my room one of the nurses came in and told me that was not very professional,at all, Sad,very Sad....

I seen Dr.Drabik for 5 years and recently switched because I live closer to grayling..he treated me exceptionally well and sat down with me and was very thorough and to the point..I would go back to him if I was back in the area...he performed 4 surgeries on me and many rechecks..he was a great doctor to me and again was always friendly to me..I appreciate the 5 years I was with him! T.H.

Dr Drabik does not have a bedside manner. He complains about not having enough staff to help him which puts him behind. Maybe if he treated his staff better (as well as his patients) he might be able to meet his schedule. Also, he sets up a treatment plan and then doesn't abide by it, making the patient feel like it is their fault. I know that in a rural area, you are limited to the providers available, but please, please... drive to Traverse City or Grand Rapids where you might have a physician who understands you are in pain and may not be at the peak of your manners. This doc does not take accountability, nor does his staff for short comings, late appointments and are just inconsiderate in general. Please take your business elsewhere. Not worth your health, time or money.

Fantastic doc. Made sure I could get back on my bicycle! Can't say enough nice things about him and his office staff.

I found the office to be kind and close to on time. The staff was knowledgeable and understanding of my condition. The doctor went out of his way to explain my treatment options. He did my stone removal and has followed up with me to make sure I am well.

He has saved my life more than once , I get frequent unpassable kidney stones and have for years . He is the best Dr I ever had for this probleem and never promises more than he can do. Thank you Thank you

Dr. Drabik is every bit as arrogant as several people have said he is. He talks down to his patients as if he is better than them, and has no desire to do anything but get them out the door so he can collect from their insurance. He is a classic example of a physician who went into the medical field for the wrong reason like so many others are these days. Give it up pal!!
