Dr. Brian Christopher Eddy, MD

Dr. Eddy is a very compassionate professional. He has helped me overcome issues that I have lived with for years. I highly recommend him. Dr. Eddy's office staff is kind and professional.

Yeah, he is a "nice guy." If that is your criteria for a competent psychiatrist, you are in trouble. Brian Eddy prescribed whatever our actively delusional son with schizophrenia asked him for, a toxic cocktail of medications (benzodiazepine - Xanax, barbiturate - Seconal, and amphetamine - Adderall), all for daytime use, that our psychotic son, who was noncompliant with his antipsychotic medication & fully delusional, could no longer safely manage. He demonized the family ("I was trying to build trust with my patient"), sharing our reports of our son's symptoms despite having a signed release to talk with us, thereby increasing our son's paranoia and destroying his trust for us. Our son was at grave risk, but Eddy refused to order hospitalization for assessment, which contributed directly to our sweet son's death due to an accidental overdose of amphetamines (ME's report), at the age of 31. If you have mild depression, he may not hurt you. But if you have a more serious psychiatric… disorder, especially a psychotic disorder, run away as fast as you can, while you still can.

Genuinely listens and takes the time to hear what you're saying. Very nice and easy to talk to.

The worst Psychiatrist I ever had who only gave you 10 minutes and prescriptions refills with out asking you how you felt.

Dr. Eddy is without a doubt the best most competent, compassionate, knowledgeable psychiatrist. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

Brian Eddy is exceptional at feigning compassion and the ability to competently practice medicine. I fear for the safety of his current patients and am so grateful to no longer be one of his patients. Preying on the vulnerable for financial gain is not generally a quality to be admired. It is easy to mistake the ability to be personable with actual competence. I am grateful to no longer be a patient of his and to still have my life. I actually had significant improvement in my mental health just as a result of no longer seeing him. It is unclear whether Brian Eddy actually understands the concept of professional responsibility, perhaps he was absent when they taught that at his medical school. Under no circumstances would I recommend anyone see Brian Eddy if one's goal is to actually get better and achieve greater health and happiness.

Making my initial appointment was a little difficult, as I had to leave a message and wait for a call back the next day, but I am glad I waited. I am very comfortable talking to Dr. Eddy and he makes me feel like he cares about me and what is going on in my life. It is a shame that insurance only covers brief appointments with psychiatrists. I would happily talk with him for longer. I went into my initial appointment wanting to try a medication that I was familiar with. He suggested something else but let me go with the prescription that I felt comfortable with.

If there was an option for zero stars I would do it. I tried to give him the benefit of the doubt despite the negative reviews on him. I have been calling the office for 2 weeks now to get an appointment. No answers, no call backs. So unprofessional. The most unreliable doctor I have ever been associated with

I cannot say enough about Dr. Eddy. Very personable and intelligent. Understanding and very willing to help. Yes, you may have to wait a few days for him to call you back to schedule an initial appointment BUT he gets you in soon thereafter. Conversely, you have to take into consideration that some psychiatrists cannot get you in for up to six months!! Yes, he may ask for your input regarding medication BUT after all you do need patient feedback for successful medication management. Utilizing Dr. Eddy's services has been a life altering experience! I highly recommend him!!!
