The phone staff is rude and talks over you making it impossible to answer. Seemed annoyed that I called and pushy.

I wouldn't recommend Evans. I had a 1cm stone that I couldn't pass so Evans performed a lithrotripsy. He told me that I "should" be able to pass the broken up stones so he didn't put a stent in. Well, the stone clogged up my ureter so I had to be put back to sleep for a ureterscopy and stent placement. During the urterscopy he didn't remove any of the stones but instead lasered them and pushed them back into my kidney. After a week with the stent, he did an Xray and said they were all gone but 1 and I "should" be able to pass them without the stent so he removed the stent. He then told me to come back in 3 months. I was still having alot of pain so I went to get a second opinion from a different urologist. I have 6+ stones remaining, two of which are 6mm and are stuck in my ureter. I now have to have ANOTHER ureterscopy and stent placement. This new doctor said if he sees the stone, he will remove it with the basket and Dr Evans should have done that in the first place.

In three months my husband contracted 2 staff infections in his office. 4 days in hospital and could have died from sepsis. First orocedure in office and three energency room trips. No lidocaine administered, ever, in his office to ease pain of catheyer insertion. Thanks be to God we were smart enough to realize sonething was wrong, and we found another urologist

No compassion! No bedside manner. Allows his patients to go through unnecessary pain and suffering.
