I was a patient for over two years. By the time I met him for my 1st appt., I had been struck by a vehicle on my bike. He prescribed meds for all symptoms related to a concussion (traumatic head pain, nausea, vertigo...). But I later learned he failed to diagnose a concussion. I later asked him why & he basically said that it was out of his expertise to know if you can get a concussion without hitting your head. Basic knowledge: "Any sudden impact causes the brain to accelerate against the skull, a movement called a coup. The organ then decelerates rapidly and ricochets back to the rear of the skull, a jolt called a countercoup". He regularly deferred to my naturopath for chronic complaints. I tried treatments with a naturopath for CFS which led to an iatrogenic outcome. I went to him with those complaints of what I believed was nerve damage. He asked me how long I had been looking for something to be wrong with me? I had a witness advocate phone in for that appt. She heard him ask me… this. He did research enough to check for B6 levels. He found the B6 toxicity (due to injections that NUNM was giving me plus my oral supps. - which he was monitoring). I insisted he chart it as nerve damage due to B6 toxicity. I requested a referral to a neurologist. He could not or did not get me a referral. I went around him. I fired him. I got my needed biopsy and confirmation of Small Fiber Neuropathy. I am learning that Epstein Barr and CFS were/are present. I am getting proper care now. He is a personable and nice man. I do not recommend as doctor.
