By the time I got to Dr. Go my angina was pretty bad. When I came out I had 5 stents. A friend recommended I read Prevent and Reverse Heart Disease. From this book I found I could have in all likelihood been pain free within a matter of a few weeks and could have reversed my condition without the need of intrusion into my arteries which could have led to death and still could someday. I could have done it by going on a plant-based, whole foods diet. It had been proven in studies. I took the book to my first follow up to show it to Dr. Go that he might recommend it to other patients. He told me he already knew about it but didn't tell his patients because they wouldn't do it. Anyone arrogant enough to assume he knows what his patients will or won't do is not someone I can recommend. A doctor should give his patient the known facts and allow the patient to make a truly informed decision.
