Dr. Brian Desmond Grogan, MD

Grogan read the results of an ultrasound his office did and said there was no ovarian cysts. A few days later my wife was in extreme pain and the Urgent Care Dr sent her to ER. ER did 2nd scan and found a cyst and diagnosed her as needing surgery. Now were back at the primary care Dr asking he refer us to a different Dr. We expect better than this from a "specialist." Grogan also seemed very unconcerned, asked little to zero questions when we were there and seemed in a hurry to get on to something else the first visit. NOT IMPRESSED.

He is experienced and knows what he is doing! Great bedside manners, professional, compassionate and really cares! I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Grogan delivered my son and was great. So when I began having issues years later I saw him for those issues. He is extremely conservative. I mean I was bleeding HEAVILY to the point of anemia and he just didn't seem to care at all. Over and over for a year he told me I was fine and basically to suck it up. I got a second opinion and was told he should have done a hysterectomy a year before! I had a year of horrible pain and horrible bleeding... a year! I missed work, dance recitals, picnics, birthday parties... all because I could barely function! I get that you don't want to go cutting on people without cause but when another doctor is quite shocked by the records you bring him... well I felt pretty good. I wasn't crazy. I wasn't exaggerating. My diagnosis was there in my records... and he hadn't even told me or tried to treat me. Never again.

He understands past trauma. If you have an anxiety issue, just bring it up to him and he will not dismiss it. There were other Doctors who weren't so caring and carried on very clinically, robotic and made the situation unpleasant. Not so with Dr. Grogan. I highly recommend him!

Dr. Grogan saved my life in 1994. I experienced a ruptured ectopic pregnancy at home. I knew I was pregnant and experienced sudden, severe pain but had no idea what was wrong. My husband drove me to Dr. Grogan's office, where I passed out before seeing him. They called an ambulance and I came to with EMTs and Dr. Grogan working on me. He cancelled all his appointments, went to the emergency room with me and took me straight to surgery. I had significant internal bleeding and would have died if he hadn't responded so quickly. My kids and I are so thankful for him!
