Dr Grubbs did a great job explaining what the problem (double hernia) was and the possible repairs. He listened to my concerns and explained the procedure and it's pros and cons. He's friendly, informative and a very good surgeon. Surgery went well as well as recovery. I'd recommend him to anyone without reservation. He's a great doctor.

Wished I never went to Park Nicollet to begin with. The breast cancer staff are all non caring and extremely pushy. I'm very angry that Dr, Grubbs removed so many (all) of the lymph nodes when it was not necessary (none of which was cancerous but one he claimed). If you decide to use this surgeon, make sure that he sticks to the plan of not removing YOUR vital nodes from your body without your knowledge. In fact, do your research before you see him (get 2nd, 3rd opinion if you have to); you will see how angry these people get when you know something they should be telling you. My last visit with him this year, I basically walked out feeling extremely angry and lacking any resolution. He lacks understanding and listening to how you feeI about your own health. Please do your own research and do not accept any diagnosis before you allow these doctors to turn you into a cancer victim. I know will NEVER go back there. Extremely mad.

As someone extremely nervous about having surgery for the first time, I could not have asked for a better experience. Dr. Grubbs made me feel very comfortable and confident that I was in good hands. He, as well as his staff, are very friendly, professional, and compassionate. I feel very lucky to have been referred to Dr. Grubbs. I would definitely recommend him to others.
