Dr. Brian Gun Lee

This guy is the most rude doctor I have ever met, and we are talking about doctors here, so that is really bad. The guy absolutely did not listen to my concerns. I had sinus and ear problems. He pushed for a several thousand dollar sinus surgery. Ignored all i was telling them about my ears. The surgery did not help my nose. I am equally clogged in my nose 6 weeks after the surgery as when I went in. They found a bunch of stuff in my ears after the surgery when i was still complaining of ear pain.

I took our son in to see Dr. Lee from a referral of a close friend of ours who is a ENT in the valley but recently retired. My son forgot his wallet (he is over 18) and so we had to run home to get his license. The front office staff allowed us to come back right away and be seen.

Truly the most unprofessional staff I have had the misfortune of meeting. If NO STAR was an option for putrid service this would be it. I arrive as a new patient 10 minute BEFORE my appointment and was locked out of the office. No less than (3) three staff acknowledged me at the door, the exterior door, and would not let me wait in the WAITING room to even do preliminary paperwork before my appointment time. The reason I arrived early to begin with. To add insult I was told the reason for locking me out was because of HIPA regulations. HIPA has nothing to do with total unprofessionalism. I choose to seek Dr. Lee's services but did not even meet him because of his office attitude and culture. Do not subject yourself to insult with this elective procedure practice.

Very competent doctor!

Dr. Brian Lee was great! I saw him for a short consultation regarding an episode that sent me to the Emergency Room. He listened very carefully and asked a lot of very specific and thoughtful questions. He gave me his opinion in a very caring, kind, and reassuring manner. However, his office staff cannot be trusted. I filled out their 10 pages of patient forms very carefully and brought the entire set with me to the appointment. They subsequently entered only the first page into the system and lost the rest, including the authorization to release the report to my primary care physician. The result is that the follow-up with my physician has been delayed due to their incompetence. They didn't even call me to ask for it again when they must have realized they lost it, or at least didn't have it. When confronted about the problem, they accused me of never having brought it in the first place! The is no excuse for this because when I arrived for my appointment, there was no other patients… in the waiting area. I highly recommend Dr. Brian Lee, but don't leave his office until you make sure his staff has done everything they are supposed to do!

Superficially the office staff are friendly and Dr. Lee appears knowledgeable. However, Dr. Lee's bedside manor, misleading billing policies, and antiquated office were a deal breaker for me. My story- I was referred to Dr. Lee by my primary care physician about trouble breathing through my nose. In total, Dr. Lee spent ten minutes with me, I was asked to sign a procedure waiver, and he examined my nose with an endoscope. I asked about the waiver, because it said I would be financially responsible for the procedure, and the assistant told me not to worry about it. That was my first disappointment with this office, because two months later I received a bill for a "moderate complexity visit" and a $196.86 procedure fee for the endoscope. Further, I left Dr. Lee's office feeling like I didn't gain any more information about my condition than before I had come. Later, I ran into a lot of trouble getting my records from the office due to "office policies" and the fact that none of there… office is digital. I was told that they could only fax or mail me a request of records form (no email because they do not possess work email addresses), and that I would need to fax or mail it back, which I did. Once I faxed it back I received a call two days later that I would need to come in and pick up the records because they do not mail or fax records. Which leads me to believe that the office is also disorganized or not knowledgeable about their own policies, because one employee told me that they would be mailed to me and the next employee said that that was against their policy. My recommendation - find a different ENT and a different office.

I made this appointment for ringing in the ears and allergies.The office staff is friendly. Dr. Lee listened to my concerns, explained some options for more testing(MRI and allergy testing) without being too pushy and let me decide what further testing I wanted.

He's OK, kind of rushes you, its so frustrating when a doctors drive is financial versus trying to help, he's not a bad doctor at all but his main drive from a patient's perspective is too self-center vs. helping others.
