Dr. Brian David Hertz, MD

I'm only 22 years of age, and I chose Dr. Hertz after reading his profile. I scheduled a check up with him, and ever since I can't imagine having another doctor. I went through bad depression my Freshmen year of college and he got be an appointment that day. It saved me and it got me on track to start taking care of myself and handling my feelings towards some hard times in my life. I am now myself going into the medical field, and Dr. Hertz is one doctor I look up to. He's highly intelligent, definitely I believe there for his patients 100% and gives sound advice. I've gone to him about my knee problems and he referred me to a sports medicine doctor as well as a PT and my knees haven't felt this good in a long time. Thank you Dr. Hertz for helping me become healthier and become a better human being by changing my life to live happier and work on living healthier as well.

After a year and a half after leaving kaiser because of being cut off all pain control meds by dr Brian hertz ( he was my md since 2004) and filing a med Boared against dr hertz, I am being refused all medical care in Marin county. I'm in a constant state of torture from failed back sx done 10-11-10 by dr Kenneth light. I am forced to utilize ER service for primary care as I've been refused tx by MCC four times ( they say they don't have my medical records). I would take some serious thought before joining kaiser. My opinion, is that is substandard medical care you may regret.

I have been in a state of constant torture since dr. Hertz suddenly cut me off all pain control for a failed back sx done by dr. Kenneth light md. I filed a complaint everywhere about dr. Hertz including the state but nothing was done. I still don't have pain medication. I weigh 200 pounds from avoiding movement and inactivity. I have Marin county cmsp and have been refused primary care by two mds at Marin comm. clinic. I filed another complaint against dr. Peter Stein md in greenbrae for refusing to give me pain medication. I believe dr. Hertz behaved as he did toward me because I speculate he has a disciniplinary record involving females. Be very cautious about this md, your life and your health could be wrecked as mine has. I wonder when I'll be able to get pain meds? Mds stick together as illustrated by my case. I would change mds if you get this md, you could end up like me. Pt of dr. Hertz from 2004 to 2012.

I left kaiser after being a lifetime member after agregious malpractice. I filed a complaint against dr. Brian hertz md for inability to get tx for a back injury and a mouth injury. Dr. Hertz cut me off needed pain medication after back surgery with dr. Kenneth light. I still have been unable to get the problem resolved in terms of pain control and options for further back surgery and am currently am on antibiotics for the dental complication. Kaisers position was that a mouth infection wasn't a medical problem. Caution with kaiser

Dr. Hertz has a problem handling pain medications. After being on pain medications from dr. Hertz since 2004 he suddenly cut me off OxyContin, dilaudid, and 35 mg of Valium per day. I left kaiser because of this and filed a complaint with the state. Dr. Hertz is very dangerous, and nobody at kaiser corrected his mistake. Marin general ER had to give me meds to prevent seizures because of this cut off. At your own risk in dealing with dr. Hertz. I also have an autoimmune problem he did not monitor, treat, or refer me to a specialist for.
