Dr. Brian John Hettrick, MD

Dr. Hettrick has been my GP for many years. I recently moved out of state and miss Dr. Hettrick and his wonderful staff. Dr. Hettrick is thorough,caring and extremely knowledgeable. His office is immaculate, and the service is friendly, efficient, and timely. You won't find a better GP. I love all of you--Dr. Hettrick, Nikki, Linda, and Amanda. God bless. You are the best!

Husband was tested for Covid 19 the day after I was found positive. My testing (elsewhere) got my results in 9 hours. Not a rapid test just did it thru Froedtert with in house lab. Husband asked Hettrick how long for results and was told 24 hours. OK. 3 days later County called to say positive. Hettricks office left a voicemail 14 days afterward telling him he's positive. Completely irresponsible especially when people's lives are involved.

Dr Hettrick is caring and kind and listens evev when I dont do (sometimes) what he advises for me -----I appreciate his interest in my health -GOD BLESS HIM

Dr Hettrick is an excellent physician. He is intelligent, compassionate, and interested in his patients’ well being.

He is the absolute worst doctor I have ever had! It shows online that he specializes in anxiety, yet when I went to him with symptoms (stomach pains, nervousness, trouble going anywhere or doing anything out of my daily routine, ect.) he had no idea what it was. When I suggested that maybe it was anxiety he through it out immediately. He hates when you make suggestions and ignores them when you do. He gave out my test results to my parents after I was 18 years of age and did not give him consent. When I finally convinced him that I do indeed have anxiety issues he prescribed me the lowest dosage of volume possible and when I told him that it wasn't doing anything he told me that he won't give me anything stronger and doesn't promote drug abuse.. He tried putting me on blood pressure medicine at the age of 18 after we already confirmed that the birth control he put me on causes it (and it wasn't that high considering I have bad anxiety). I would suggest to anyone who wants a doctor that… will actually help them to stay far away from this man!

My family and I have been seeing Dr. Hettrick for about 12 years now. I can't say enough about him. All doctors should care for their patients, the way that he does. I always recommend his practice to my family and friends. Love him.

Waiting times were very reasonable, with a nice waiting room, and the office staff are very friendly! However, the office hours are from 9:15am to 4:30pm with an hour and a half long lunch! On top of that, the doctors don't work all the days of the week and it seems like the scheduling is done more towards how the doctors want to work, and not modeled around ease for the patients. Dr.Hettrick is also not a fan of teens. My mother is an RNP so before I go to see Dr.Hettrick I consult my mom about things to mention. I come prepared with brand names of medications and such. Dr.Hettrick disregaurded my requests. Another problem I had (and I consulted a friend about this and she said the same thing happened to her) was that he was very accusatory in tone when asking things about drinking, smoking, etc which I nor my frined have ever done. But I suppose the icing on the cake was when he was too absorbed in answering an email to repond to any information I had just provided him after he had… just asked. SO I repeated everything I had just said and he got up opened the door and said "I'll be right back." About ten minutes later he returned stating that he "had to answer a page." Overall, I was not happy with Dr.Hettrick. He needs to revamp his perspective on teens and realize that not all of us are bad people. He also needs to listen more to what teens have to say.

Dr. Hettrick is and always will be a fantasic doctor. I've been under his care for several years and never once had any complaints. Very intellagent, very nice and he makes sure you understand what's wrong completely.
