Dr. Brian John Horn, DO

I am really concerned with the comments made here! I have been seeing Dr. Horn for almost 20 years. Dr. Horn has always taken the extra time to listen and hear me out even if I had more than one thing going on that day. He doesn't rush me in and out. He is a D.O. - they are trained to listen and partner with their patients for whole body health and wellness. When I was a new patient, Dr. Horn visited my husband, unannounced, while he was in the hospital. The awesome thing about that is, my husband at the time wasn't even a patient of his. Dr. Horn is very caring and thoughtful. I have treated him with respect and likewise he has always treated me and my family with respect. The only negative I have is that I do sit longer in the waiting room to be called back, sometime 10-15 minutes past my appointment time. But not many doctors do run on time. I have and will continue to refer everyone I know to Dr. Horn because of his knowledge and professionalism!

He has been my family physician for over 16 years and counting. It's hard to find a doctor that listens and remembers you. He has your best interest at heart.

This practice is unprofessional and rude! Dr Horn doesnt seem to be really concern about his patients. He probably needs to find another field to work in. Doesn't seem very knowledgeable about anything. Like to hand out pain medication. We have stayed with this practice too long. Thank God we weren't sick often. Dr Horn needs to be more compassionate and happy to be a Doctor.

have been going to Dr horn for several years. At first barely even waited 5 minutes before being called in back to see doctor. Now , could be 5 minutes to 1 hour before taken back to room. Going to start looking for another family doctor

Go to Dr. Horn, you wont be disappointed.

Brian Horn has no difficulty with insulting people, through his staff, not only that but apparently the practice pushes synthetics. Be advised to keep on in your search for a good family physician, because Dr. Horn is not a good family physician, however if you must go to Southside, Make your appointment with his PA, Kate, she is thorough and helpful.

Dr. Horn is excellent. I love that if I just need a strong cough medicine, or a refill of a prescription for a non-frequent condition that I can call in and he will order the Rx without me having to make an office visit.

Our family has been with dr horn for almost 20 years. In the early years dr horn was happy to see you and had a great bedside manner. But even after 20 he seems more cold and acts like everyone is a pain in his ask. It is obvious he doesn't enjoy his job. He seems to be walking around with a chip on his shoulder. He doesnt take criticism at all and if you do critisize him he's not man enough to talk to your face or a phone call. Instead he would rather just make you go away. This is dr horns trade mark. He is to arrogant to be wrong or any of his staff can do no wrong. You will be lucky to see a real dr. Because he uses dr assistants. He's taking new patients while most dr.s are full. That should tell you about the exodus of patients leaving room for new patients. Or that his assistants are doing most of his work. I miss the old dr horn and will be looking for another Dr. who respects his patients and thier families.

HE DOES NOT LISTEN TO HIS PATIENTS AND WHEN HE CAN'T FIGURE OUT WHAT IS CAUSING THE PROBLEM HE FEELS THERE ISN'T A PROBLEM.HIS STAFF IS VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE- THEY DO NOT WANT TO HELP ANYONE WITH ANY PROBLEM ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR MONEY.

I have never had to wait longer than 20 mins to see the doctor. The staff is always courteous and professional. Getting and changing appointments have been done with ease. Dr. Horn cares about his patients is very personable and I would highly recommend him.
