Great doctor. He is very knowledgeable, caring and takes the time, never have I felt he's in a rush. He's very direct - I guess some people don't like that, but I do. I found him caring and he has amazing bedside manners.

He was waking in the room with a sarcasm smile on his face. Half of the conversation was: who send me to him and how many doctors I was seeing in the past and show me in the computer my info. The reason I was seeing to many doctors in different places was that no one of them did anything for me until my sickness got so advance. His job was to check if something was the wrong form his point of specialty and that it and he got paid for it. Second latter my neurologist change my appointment back with her PA(she was the one referred me to him). His expertise and professional manners are questionable.

Dr. Brian Hunis, a hematologist/oncologist, was recommended to me by another physician. He has always provided optimal care to me as I have suffered through Stage 4 bladder cancer, and the side of effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Dr. Hunis has become like a family member to my wife and me- his concern for me is second to none. Following chemo and radiation, Dr. Hunis pursued immunotherapy with a major drug company, when our insurance declined to pay for treatment. My wife and I truly believe that I would not be alive today without Dr. Hunis's intervention on my behalf.

Very good doctor. No one wants to see an oncologist, but Dr Hunis and his staff are great.

Very positive but realistic doctor. Great care giver and overall excellent physician. His pleasant demeanor and sense of humor were much appreciated. Moved from Greenwood, SC for a great opportunity in Florida. He will be greatly missed.

Most people wouldn't like to have to see an oncologist. Dr. Hunis puts you at ease with his great bedside manners, down to earth approach to an often difficult issue such as the diagnosis of cancer. He is knowledgeable, respectful and sometimes even funny. Truly a gem of a doctor.

They have got a new center that is really nice. The doctor is nice and caring. Takes a lot of time and shows he cares, listens and makes sure you understand what is going on. They have an research agreement with the Medical University in Charleston.Hopefully I don't need him. My anemia is better - which he cured.
