I am a huge dr.hunt fan, however I couldn't get my son into see him and was referred to Dr. Kern. He looks different than in the picture. I am hoping my son is in good hands. I had a horrible experience with one the physician assistants and some of the other staff was down right hateful as well. So I been nervous taking my son here. So far a much better experience with staff and hopefully the surgery. May God bless and get my son walking again.

I had 2 surgery experiences with Dr. Kern. The 1st time he did a total right shoulder replacement. He preformed excellently. That was 6 years ago and my shoulder is still what it should be. The next time I had broken a bone in my left wrist. He put a plate into in it to hold the bone in replace as it mended. That was 4 years ago and wrist still in great shape. Would recommend Dr. Kern to anyone.

Dr Kern is a good Dr who describes the problem in a understanding manner. He makes you feel very comfortable.

This doc is personable yes -- but very honest and knows his stuff. He explains things clearly and takes time with you. He's got a great physicians assistant (Josh) and med assistant (Jason). I wish and wish he's also take over my ankle problem. I don't think everyone in his group is on his level and along with some very rude office staff bring his practice down == unfortunate. He needs to open up his own knee / sports clinic practice. He's too good for this group. Lastly -- he listens, a rare and needed quality. Gets to understand patients as more than a torn knee etc. A+++++

Dr. Kern is very personable and thorough. When his partner would not do my husband's hip replacement, he referred us outside his practice. He was able to look past my husband's age and xrays and see how much pain he is in and how this hip has caused his quality of life to become very poor. He looks at the whole picture not just the numbers and listens to his patients. Called me on my cell to talk about my husband's MRI while his wife was in labor with their 2nd child. Very dedicated.
