Dr. Brian Sangwoo Kim, MD

I have chronic itch of unknown origin. Saw Dr. Kim twice. First visit he was very engaged, asked a lot of questions and I was hopeful that even if could not find the root cause at least I could get advice as to how to live with hives, rashes and chronic itch. Second visit was much different. Appeared that since the itch and its cause were still a mystery and therefore not easy to solve he had better things to do with his time. I was rushed through office visit with many unanswered questions. One thing he did suggest was an over the counter lotion which I knew caused skin reaction. He downplayed my concern with "it is only menthol." However the product is loaded with ingredients which allergist told me to avoid. Pushed to get some answers and then just gave up. Dr. Kim did not seem willing to listen in his quest to close the approximately 15 minute visit and move on. Itch still a major problem but unfortunately do not feel that his clinic is willing to help.
