Dr. Brian Nolan Kirschner, MD

Dr. Kirschner has the absolutely worst bedside manner that I've seen in a very long while. He appeared totally disinterested in the fact that the exam involved another human being-ME! His diagnostic skills are also questionable. My secondary complaint involved the numbness I experience in my left leg. He simply asked me to identify the area and immediately said it was because I am overweight (according to BMI); I wear a size 10 ladies. Prior to his off-the-cuff diagnosis, I had neglected to inform him that I had a previous EMG which demonstrated neurological damage, AND an MRI with results showing a herniation in my lower back (not sure which level but lumbar). He also advised that there is no neurological damage pretaining to my right hand, my primary complaint yet I'm experiencing ever increasing pain. Considering my experience with this physician, I feel I need a second opinion!

Was very impressed with Dr..and office staff.. Easy appointment...He went over and above with exam and explaining his findings.. He spent the time to examine and explain his diagnosis.

Cancel your appointment. I can't believe this jerk even graduated from a real medical school. Rude, dismissive, humiliating. The AMA should look into throwing this degenerate out. Absolute worst and most incompetent doctor I have ever seen. Didn't even try.

I saw Dr. Kirschner on a consult following various tests prescribed by my primary care doctor. I found him personable, knowledgable, and easy to talk to. He took a detailed history, asked many questions about my symptoms, did an exam, and then summarized his impressions on the test and his findings. I would see him again, if needed.

We all have our days, including doctors and their patients. That is why choosing a doctor should not be based upon a single and repeated bed review that occurred on one of these out of the ordinary days. over all i am very pleased with Dr. Kirschner's both knowledge and attitude and will recommend him. Stuff was also nice and helpful.

I was sent for a workers comp evaluation. I read the reviews before I went and dreaded dealing with the doctor described in them. I found him to be professional and courteous. I don't know what his report to the insurance company will say, but his bedside manner and personality were what I would expect from my family physician.

My husband has been seeing Dr. Kirschner for many years now. Brain surgery is one option for my husband's condition, however, Dr. Kirschner helped my husband find an alternative to that option, something we are grateful for. He wanted the least invasive method for my husband while still being able to control his seizures. We found a medication that provided that control - and because of the cost of that particular medication, Dr. Kirschner and his staff have gone above and beyond to assist us in finding assistance in lowering the cost of this medication; especially when I was without a job or insurance. Throughout the years, we have not had a bad experience with Dr. Kirschner or his staff and are thankful to have found him to help my husband.

I was referred to Kirschner by my PCP for chronic migraines that have left me debilitated from months, unable to work. The optimism I had upon arrival quickly diminished as the Dr spoke condescendingly to me while minimizing my pain and questioning my previous attempts to address it. He ignored my medical records and prescribed (yet another, mind you) medication that, although in a different class of meds, previously left me with severe side-effects. No compassion or empathy, none.

You do not belong in this profession, get professional help.
