Dr. Brian Dean Marshall, DO

Dr. Brian Marshall is certified as a therapeutic optometrist and an optometric glaucoma specialist. He has been in practice for over 20 years. After graduating with honors from the University of Houston College of Optometry, he completed a residency in Cornea and Advanced Contact Lens Practice and later a fellowship in Refractive Surgery. He served as an Associate Professor at the University of Alabama Birmingham where he became Chief of the Corneal and Contact Lens Service. There he was involved in numerous eye studies and lectured across the country. His main focus was centered around contact lens wear and dry eye. He has written many peer reviewed papers and several book chapters. He is currently on the editorial board for Doody Publishing. After leaving the University of Alabama, Dr. Marshall joined the TLC Laser Center in Connecticut and New York as Center Director where he co-managed over 10,000 refractive surgeries. Dr. Marshall is a fellow of the Academy of Optometry, which is …an exclusive organization limited to the top 6% of optometrists. In 2007, he returned to his home state of Texas. His hobbies include photography, bicycling and scuba diving. He is married and has two beautiful children.
