Excellent physician. Went to Shoreline Clinic for chest based symptoms. Facility ran like a well oiled machine. Dr McGuire led the process and explained all throughout.He thoroughly knew what he was doing and conveyed it.

I really tried to avoid leaving a review but I figure maybe someone else shared a similar awful experience under this physician's care. When he came to ask me routine questions I smelled a stench of alcohol under his breath, his speech was pressured, posture unsteady, and he was visibly impaired. As he continued with his questioning I realized that his questions became random and unrelated to my health status, so I let him know that I felt uncomfortable with his behavior and line of questioning and I preferred to end this exam. I was out of there asap. The next day I notified the corporate compliance representative at Middlesex hospital and she reassured me that he is a good worker and that maybe I was "overreacting". I was so surprised at how she dismissed my entire ordeal. I guess Middlesex hospital feels that it's okay for their healthcare providers to be under the influence of alcohol/substances while caring for their patients. Well, I will definitely be going elsewhere and… spreading my encounter to anyone that wants to hear.
