Dr. Brian Douglas Meek, MD

I saw Dr. Meek for the second time today. First appointment was for the consultation and the second was for the steroid injection. Dr. Meek and his staff were outstanding. Dr. Meek explained the procedure and what I should expect. He took his time and answered all of my questions before the procedure. My procedure went well. I high recommend Dr. Meek. Thank you Doc!

I was referred to Dr. Meek for continual lower back pain, (had discectomy 10 year ago, something happened 6 mos ago, have had bruised feeling pain level 4 in low back since. Dr. Meek kept referring to mid back & leg pain ? (no low back L5/S1) took xrays, reviewed but never offered any explanation for the newly developed pain. I again mentioned it had just started a few months ago, his response as he smiled at me & smuggly said, "you can believe me or not, it's completely up to you." What?! I wasn't doubting - just looking for some reason or explanation for this new issue. Wow! Gave me a physical therapy script & sent me on my way. WILL NOT RETURN. I did receive a call from the CEO of Pain & Joint company Mr. Jim Kid, the following day, said Dr. Meek told him I may have been unhappy (really??) Mr. Kid was patient, empathetic and I was impressed he cared enough to reach out. I never post reviews but was so put off by Dr. Meek, felt the need to share.

Let me begin by saying I had 3 or 4 appointments in Dr. Meeks office-2 of these were with his PA. She was the only one who was not condescending in the entire office. Each visit was an hour or longer wait and then 15-20 minutes longer in the exam room. Twice I actually considered leaving. Had I been an hour or more late, no one would have seen me for sure. This happened with both Dr. Meek and the PA. Every time was an apology due to an emergency although I heard staff laughing and carrying on in the halls. Once inside, I had brought years of records from pain management doctors for them to review. After 15 years or so, I tried to explain what had worked in the past. With Dr. Meeks it is either his way or the highway. No compromise. His PA was just a lot of lip service and following his direction Im sure. I would have never left my original pain doctor had she not retired. Funny, whatever she did gave me relief and whatever this doctor did caused me increased pain. The last… straw was I left the office near closing time and asked the receptionist for ALL of my records. She asked if I wanted the disc I had brought too. I replied yes. Today, the office called and said all but the couple of pages from my visits at their office had been shredded including my disc-company policy.Yesterday there were 38 pages and today four. Visit this office at your own risk. Quite a racket I'd say.

My comment is very low on this man he's not there help you and I'd ask see his degree

Dr. Meek is the, MAY I REPEAT, THE ONLY DR. THAT HAS HELPED ME IN 17 YEARS! They say there are kooky patients, believe me double that for Drs.! I sat and told him everything about my back and he looked at me and said, I will find it! HE HAS AND HE IS DOING THINGS ABOUT IT ! Think 17 years of pain , now unbearable! This man is kind, listens and truly cares! God sent me to the right Dr. this time! He is one of the TOP and VERY BEST DOCTORS I HAVE EVER GONE TOO! THANK YOU DR. BRIAN D. MEEK, YOU ARE THE VERY BEST AND DESERVE 5 STARS FROM EVERYONE! DR MEEK KNOWS WHAT HE IS DOING, GOD BLESS HIM!

Would never return to this doctor for pain management.

Dr Meek is an excellent empathetic Doctor who really listens and cares!

Very happy with this doctor. He has a great bedside manner, and listens to your issues and treats the problem appropriately and ethically. He takes his time, yet also doesn't have a long wait. Ive had several injections from him, which he also performed relatively painlessly. I also appreciate the fact he suggested a 2nd opinion from a surgeon, who was also top notch. His assistant is also very nice. He's the 3rd doctor in this group we've dealt with, and all have been fabulous.
