Meet Dr. Michalkow
I was born and raised in Troy, Michigan, and have proudly lived in the Great Lakes State all my life. Since graduating dental school in 2003, I have been passionate about being an orthodontist and exceeding my patients’ expectations. I enjoy changing lives and am rewarded by the positive change orthodontic treatment brings to each and every patient, at any age. My commitment to patients is to provide quality orthodontic care to the best of my ability and to a standard I would give my own family. In order to provide advanced orthodontic care, I routinely exceed the 30 hours of continuing education required by the State of Michigan Board of Dentistry. This is part of my ongoing commitment to ensure my practice remains at the forefront of modern orthodontic techniques. I enjoy reinforcing fundamental principles while learning new developments in the field to help my patients achieve better results and a more positive experience. My areas of interest for advanced education include diagnosis, treatment planning, growth and development, surgical and functional orthodontics, as well as interdisciplinary issues in general dentistry and Invisalign.


At Michalkow Orthodontics, we are always looking for ways to improve the community we work in. We support local private and public schools in Fenton, Linden, and Holly through charitable donation and volunteerism. Recent sponsorships include patient sports teams, project graduation, dental missionary relief, and local non-profits. It’s so important to give back and we’re excited every time we get to make a difference.
