A native of Oregon, Dr. Brian Moffit is a Board certified Diagnostic Radiologist who specializes in Neuroradiology and Magnetic Resonance Imaging. He also has Certified Added Qualifications (CAQ) in Neuroradiology, which is the highest board certification possible in Neuroradiology. Dr. Moffit received his undergraduate education at Lewis and Clark College in Portland, Oregon and his medical education at the University of Oregon Health Science Center. He obtained his diagnostic radiology residency and his neuroradiology fellowship both at UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Moffit joined Radiology Medical Group in 1989 and currently is the Co-Director of the Mercy Magnetic Imaging Center. Dr. Moffit is an expert at all types of medical imaging, but has particular expertise in neuroradiology, head and neck imaging, magnetic resonance imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, angiography, and percutaneous pain management procedures (including Percutaneous Vertebroplasty). My wife has had back pain for years and her neuro surgeon suggested doing a diskogram to establish if surgery would help her pain. The neuro surgeon recommended we have Dr. Moffit perform the diskgram. After reading the risks associated with diskograms, she was unsure if she would go through with the procedure. We had a lot of questions for Dr. Moffit. He took the time to fully explain what is involved with the diskogram, the risks associated with them, and the benefit we could get from doing it. He also answered all of our questions fully and completely without making us feel rushed. He was very knowledgeable, caring and confident. He definitely put me and my wife at ease and she ended up having the diskogram. The procedure went extremely well without any problems which I think was in large part due to Dr. Moffit's diligence and expertise. After the procedure was complete, he came back to see us before we checked out to give us his assessment and also once again answer all… our questions on the results. The office staff was also very nice and courteous to us. I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Moffit. He is one of the best doctors I have ever been to.
