Dr. Brian E. Morgan, MD

I had my left knee done about four years ago. It took four months to finally stop hurting but now it's great. I had the right knee done seven weeks ago today. I'm back riding my treadmill for two weeks now. It only hurts at night when I'm lying in bed. Dr. Morgan is great. I give him five stars. I wish he did shoulders because that's my next adventure with OrthoAtlanta.

Had three major shoulder reconstruction surgeries in 3 years. Complete recovery on first two and still in rehab for the third. Incredible skilled surgeon that is compassionate and caring. I would not consider letting any other ortho surgeon operate on me. I am forever grateful to Dr Morgan!

Dr Morgan's PA Scott, was so unprofessional and rude. He was going to perform a procedure without reviewing the MRI. We are not having it done because of these things .

I used him a few years back and had similar issues. I specifically chose another office, little did I know they company name and location has changed. I ended up in the same boat. I have now had a total of 4-5 visits. I have NEVER waited less than an hour in the waiting room. Then usually close to another hour in the room. EVERYTIME, there is some type of excuse of an emergency or running behind due to a new patient. Believe what you want. The excuses seem thin. The bad part is he is a nice guy. He does a good job and is really quick in the room. So he is perfect for someone who doesn't have any other responsibilities in life.

I trusted this Dr to tell me which procedure he thought was best for me after he gave me my choices of arthroscopy or hip replacement/ He said I was a good candidate for arthroscopy because it was less invasive and less down time. So under his advise I went with arthroscopy. After I got out of surgery which took twice as long as it was suppose to, I found out he did microfracture which meant I could not put any weight on my left leg for six weeks, a machine was put in my bed which I had to use everyday for 6 hours for 3 weeks! When I went back for post op I saw a PA instead of him. It's been 15 months since I had the surgery & I'm back where I started. I went to see another Orthapedic this week & he told me he would never do arthroscopy on someone my age (61), so now I'm scheduled for hip replacement in 2 weeks. Besides the pain I've been through this last year it cost me $6,000. out of pocket not to mention I've got to pay another $6,000. for this surgery!!!!!

Dr. Morgan performed surgery on both of my daughter's knees. He was able to diagnose her issue quickly after we had spent many months going from doctor to doctor trying to figure out the problem. He is very knowledgable and caring. He was willing to explain things in detail and answered all of our questions. I would highly recommend Dr. Morgan for problems with the knee.

The Doctor has misinformation in my record (ie a surgery I never had and information I never gave, I had to tell him what how many follow up visits I had). I had surgery with this doctor. I went in at 8 in morning did not have my surgery til 4 that evening and I never saw him once. I was given a double dose of pain meds by mistake and was and unable to leave until 10 that night. This was suppose to be a 30 surgery and 1 hr time total at the hospital. I am in worst condition than I was before I had treatment with him. He also wants you to see his P.A. when you are expecting to talk to him. The P.A. did not relay all information the doctor gave and does not know very much.
