Dr. Brian Thomas Nichol, MD

Hands down the most caring Doctor! I have been a patient about 3 years & he has listened and acted accordingly. I highly recommend him and his staff!!!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr Nichol. He is kind, patient, knowledgeable and compassionate. He takes his time and really cares about your well being. I LOVE him. His staff is AMAZING as well.

I have been a patient of Dr. Nichol for over 20 years. He has consistently listened to the issues I have and has been of the leading edge of new procedures and/or medications that may help to control the intractable pain that I live with. He monitors my medications and has always given very good advice and ideas to help with the type of medications I take and always considers the advantage or disadvantage of different types of medications or procedures. He is very open and explains in simple, but precise description, my current condition / issues.

Hippocrates, himself, would give Dr. Brian T. Nicols a five star rating! While the local medical Good Ole Boys may look at him with a jaundiced eye, his suffering patients view him as a veritable Saint. Warm, witty, compassionate beyond belief, brilliant, with an uncanny ability for empathy, and more than anything, effective, this True Healer is an anachronism in a Health Care INDUSTRY that reduces every hurting, suffering Soul to a mere Insurance Claim. My wife was diagnosed with a degenerative chronic illness in 1995, dooming her to shuffle miserably from one incompetent Dr. Do Nothing to another, with the only result being a big fat stack of medical bills. Unfortunately, Arkansas suffers from every poor State's worst nightmare, ergo, Brain Drain, seeing the best and brightest leaving the State for more rewarding practices elsewhere. But in the few years under Dr. Nicols care, my wife (and my life) has undergone a transformation from abject daily misery to a reasonably… normal life. Sure, she still has the diseases, but, all things considered, she lives with actual continuing Improvement in her condition. Thank you so much, Dr. Nicols.

I really had been suffering, not sleeping, and in pain most everyday for many years. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia in 1995. By happenchance I was referred to Dr. Nicols. I was hoping this would be a fruitful appointment given all the wonderful reviews I read. My first appointment was so great. Spencer checked me in, took vitals and medical history etc. to my surprise I was left for an unexpected short amount of time. Dr. Nicole's went over everything with a finetoothed comb ask many questions and actually LISTENED to me! (Almost fell out of my chair) I would see him for all of my doctoring if it were possible! I am so thankful for him! I actually sleep better and can function at a much higher level. Thank you thank you thank you Doc!!!

Dr. Nichols has been an excellent doctor his credentials are impeccable. He tells you how it is and what to expect. He is a true healer in every since of the word. I would refer anyone to him!

Dr. Nichols is great and has helped me as much as he can. I have a bad back, but that is nothing that the pain I have left over from chemotherapy and extreme pain in the hands and feet and memory problems, pretty much any and all side effects that extreme high dose chemo therapy for lymphoma stage 3-4 is rough and nasty, but Dr. Nichols has been a godsend, thanks and he is great.

Dr. Nichols has been a has been a Godsend to me for helping me have somewhat of a better quality of life due to the cancer treatment and the pain that is has done to my nerves and body. I think he has been a great pain management Doctor for me. I have other issues that i am dealing with due to cancer and the treatment associated with it but that has to do with other doctors and medical professionals.

My 4th and last pain doc. VERY good at what he does. I'm a patient of 11 yrs. He's my miracle!

I am a patient of the good Dr. Nichol. I had been to other "specialists" I use that word loosely. The other specialists all told me the same thing "you will grow out of it, you are young-and BTW here is a 4 year suppy of morphine,dilaouded,and fentnyl just in case you need it. I am totally disabled. I was also a patient of Dr. Nichol's partner, who works out of state. Dr. Nichol has been nothing but caring,and has told me the truth -even when it hurt me- about my back,and my pain, including neuropathy. Dr. Nichol has performed nerve burns on me without me being scared. Some of them haven't worked-as he told me they wouldn't completely. He has also tried to "fix" my thoracic spine,but told me honestly "there is no hope". His staff are nothing but courteous.I am on disability and medicare, and Dr Nichol takes what they pay and if I have the extra-he is ok. I wish I could pay more. About high powered drugs- I asked him about morphine[which I had been treated with for years]he told me it… wasn't a good idea at this point and gave me a lower class pill,and others to treat other symptoms.His staff has never done any procedures to anyone that I know of. Some of his staff smoke cigs,dress like commonfolks, and it brings a personable "air" to his office. The only procedures his staff has ever done-that I know of-is the routine drug tests on patients that they are supposed to do. We need more Dr.'s like him,and more staff like he has. Yes,he got a fraud charge-but he is the type of MAN that will tell you why--if asked. I highly respect him, his staff, and I would recommend him to anyone.
