Dr. Brian A Oshaughnessy, MD

My mom has been patient at this clinic for as long as I can remember. She has had 9 back surgeries. First 7 was with Dr. Allen. All amazing we miss him. Last 2 was with Dr. O'shaughnessy, the first one he knocked something in her back and had to put a drain tube in. Which accidents happen, but when he come to talk to us he said everything went perfect. We founfld out when we go to see her and she had tubes hanging out her back. The nurse explained what had happened and apologized that the Dr didnt tell us. This last surgery mom has not been good since. He paralyzed her diaphragm and did something to her voice. It's been over 6 months. She will have to have more surgeries as Dr Allen told her years ago with what is going on with her. But Dr o'shaughnessy will not touch her again!

I recently had a spinal fusion done for correction of my severe scolosis, Doctor Brian Oshaughnessy did my surgery. I am so so thankful to this doctor and his surgical skills and what he did for me. I now have a streight spine and I am definately pain free. I would highly recommend Doctor Oshaughnessy and the Howell and Allen Clinic for anyone who is having any spinal or neurological problems.

Amazing Dr.! Dr. O gave me my life back. I was injured by a drunk driver 7 yrs ago. Surgeon after surgeon wouldn't do anything to help me, then, God sent Dr. O! I suffered w pain, mentally and physically for years. All drs wanted to do is dope me up & not deal w such a complicated case. Dr. O, upon meeting him, was so caring, empathetic & validated my pain. I went thru a deep, deep 4 yr depression due to suffering, financial loss, trying to raise a child wout hardly anything....i had to go on disability after completing a Masters degree & I had lost all hope. I truly believe God put this amazing man on earth to heal the suffering. Not only is Dr. O gifted with a mind that blue ws me away, hands of an angel, but also a heart filled with care, compassion & empathy. He had to do a total reconstruction of my lower back- 4 levels. I went for a post-op appt a few days ago & after only 8 months, I'm completely healed!! This timing is unheard of....hes an angel on earth. I would trust him with… my son wout reservations. If you're looking for a surgeon & complicated or not, he is the whole pkg! He has a smile waiting for u & a great sense of humor to add. Dr . O, if ur reading this, I looked up all your publications, research, accolades,etc...Youre a big guy & reminded ND me of a ftball player, but since ure such a smart fellow, I forgot to ask if u were a nerd in highschool & if u got ur butt kicked every day....lol!!! Thank you so much!! U are an angel on earth!!

Dr. O'Shaughnessy completed a complicated indepth surgery for me in 2013. The prcedure had to be performed in two stages to correct a previously failed surgery by another neurosurgeon as well as to correst scoliosis. My life was going straight down and I feel that he has given me my life back. I will be forever grateful to him and trust his judgement completely regarding my back issues.
