Terrible treatment of patient. Has an air of superiority to him

Waited 2 hours online for a teleconference call that the doctor never got on. Left multiple messages only to learn later that they were having computer issues. No one called to inform me of the problem. Very disappointed.

I came to see Dr. Brian Pien due to unknown headache, he said I have brain abscess or warm long disease and ordered me to do an MRI and Spinal Tap, along with thousands of blood tests. He said these without even looking at me, my symptoms, or listening to me. This is pretty ridiculous. I turned out after spending money on all these tests did not have any of these he said. This is very irresponsible or he just has no patient experience.

Not a good doctor

Dr Pien may have good knowledge of his field, but his attitude toward patients is belligerent and unhelpful. He is more concerned about protecting himself from liability than about helping the patient. The feeling the patient is left with is that he is a mean man who doesn't care about people who are suffering.

When I could not be by my father's side, Dr. Pien was there even though he was no longer Dr. Pien's patient. He was there when it counted & explained to my family in simple terms my father's medical conditions. He did this even though he was not even getting paid. Dr. Pien shows through his actions that he cares.

Dr. Pien is a great Dr., yes he is a very busy man. So sometimes you might not be able to voice your concerns But he's saved me in the past and is treating me again right now.The staff is wonderful, every one of them treat you w/ respect and concern. Thank You Dr. Pien. Michelle Calendar.

Dr. pien is a very good doctor very thorough. And is very clear with instructions to patient and clearly understands how to effectively treat infection I would recommend him to anyone as a great doctor

TWO HOURS or more is how long you will have to wait in the waiting area to see him! If you don't care and decide to go anyways, you better bring food, drinks, and something to do.

Horrible doctor - especially for elderly patients. For some reason, Straub refers all infectious disease patients to Dr. Pien. The wait time is long, even if you have the first appointment. Being rude and impatient is tolerable if the doctor is good, but he is not.
