Long wait to see the doctor in fact I refused to be seen by the doctor and only wanted be seen by the PA, a much better bed side manner. Before someone tries to shoot me down I got what ever I was told I needed the monthly visiits were based on case load if a full schedual every other month if the schedule was slow it was every month. All about the insurance money even when out of pocket max was met everywhere else stopped charging not there all year long. The doctor himself is a pompous a.. many confrontations with him that’s why PA only. The office manger made medical direction to pharmacy’s even at the expense of the patient without consaulting the doctor verified by one of the many PA’s there and gone. Pills were the very top shelf nothing better available it’s funny tha every other doctor I’ve seen sence was take back by the amount for that long. That would also be the doctors envolve in me rehab time, never once was I evaluated to see if I had a problem with the meds as well. I… now take way lower strength and non addictive meds and serprisingly they work way better. I as well as my family are very glad I got a way before I died. Candy doctor you decided. Not recommended at all stay clear.

After waiting an hour to be called in to see the PA I said I was frustrated by the long wait. She left the exam room returned in a few minutes with Dr Pierson who told me that if I didn’t like waiting I could go elsewhere! And I will never go be back.

I don’t normally leave reviews, but I do check them. I was checking reviews on another specialty, and looked up Dr Pierson out of curiosity. I’ve been seeing Dr Pierson for over two years, and my experiences have all been positive. The last two reviews were clearly from individuals who didn’t get the narcotics they wanted!! Dr Pierson is NOT a candy doc, but his office is excellent, and he is always thorough. Bill

Getting past his awful personality and terrible bedside manner is one thing. Getting billed for visits you did not even have and refusing to take and action is another. I was told I HAVE to come pick up a prescription refill as it could not be called in, showed up and did so as instructed and was billed 120 for an office visit I never even had. Never saw a doctor... 120 bucks to have the secretary hand me a script? Called for 5 months with no return calls, finally get Dr Pierson on the phone and he states "that's how we do it here." Sounds like insurance fraud 101 to me. AVOID AT ALL COST!!

I had a very pleasant experience with dr. Pearson. Everyone that I talk to you there was very nice. The doctor himself was very nice did an exam on me and listen to what I had to say.

Worst of the worst. This Dixieland charlatan evaluates all chronic pain patients as addicts. Ship his inconsiderate, compassionless butt back to bumpkin Alabama where his ignorant redneck style belongs!

Just not a kind doctor, I have longstanding pain issues and he is very harsh to me, been seeing him for a while.

Dr Pierson is very professional, easy to communicate with. I highly recommend this doctor. I hAve no fear of getting addicted to pain meds as I did with my previous doctor. However, he works very closely to manage my pain. He is number one in my book!!!!

I have been seeing Dr Pierson for a year and a half now. I have seen my own MD and two other Pain Docs. He is not "warm and fuzzy" but Dr. Pierson does the most thorough exam and does the best job explaining things of all of them. When I needed some special injections he sent me to Dr. Schaeffer, and those really helped. He adjusts my meds when needed, and his staff get preauthorizations done real quick. The guy who wrote the other nasty review must have just wanted a "candy doc." Dr. Pierson takes his job very seriously, and does not hand out narcotics like some docs, but I feel he handles it very professionally. If you want good care, see Dr. Pierson.
