Dr. Brian Steven Quigley, MD

In 2013 I went to WakeMed with blisters on my left torso. WakeMed lied to me and said it was IBS, irritable bowel syndrome. I did not understand why they took the stance. I kind of do because of what my old primary care provider did lying to help me get disability. Anyway I can barely drive to Rex Hospital. Rex Hospital is my family's hospital since I was a young child. And walks doctor Quigley. Professional, kind, personable, excellent bedside manner, I cannot give him enough credit. I can't give him enough stars. It took him less than 2 minutes, well 60 seconds to tell me I hit shingles. He came to mind all the sudden for no reason whatsoever so I looked him up. I wish he was my primary care doctor because the last PCP I had was not reading my lab work, Lupus showng up in my blood. I was diagnosed with Interpatic mucinous neoplasm in 2019. I've lost 55 lbs, caxcahia, and ampulla lesion showed up on an MRI in 2023 and nobody is helping me. I wish Dr Quigley was my doctor that's all I… have to say. I can't give him enough stars. So if you're reading this and you have had the opportunity to have him serve you, you're in good shape! You're blessed!

Went out of the way to prescribe me the right meds

i went in to the ER bc I was having intense chest pain and arm spasms and this guy turned it around into just a headache, gave me some Benadryl and sent me home. My chest still hurts. Gonna have 2 go see someone else I guess. Would recommend avoiding the Valdese ER.

I was seen by Dr Quigley in the ER at ARMC in Burlington. I had severe back pain under my shoulder blade. He asked me to describe the pain. I told him it was a stabbing pain. He asked if I had ever been stabbed in a hateful tone. It ended up being a pinched nerve. He told me I had pulled a muscle. He was the most hateful rude Dr I have ever seen.

Took care of the problem when my regular doctor couldn’t see me

Dr. Quigley took great care of my son while he was sick. He seemed kind and engaged and my son was real comfortable.

I saw him at the Urgent Care and agree with most posts that from the moment he walked it I seemed to be a bother and made to felt like why was I even there? I was 10 weeks pregnant with body aches, chills, severe nausea, lightheadedness and abounding headache. I was told they cannot do anything like “an MRI, scan, or spinal tap. They cannot tests for headaches in an urgent care.” I was told I had a virus and that’s it. I went to the primary care two days later and they confirmed I had ear infections. Not once did he even check my ears. Thank you for making me feel like I was wasting your time due to my concern about my health during my pregnancy.

My husband was seen by Dr. Quigley in the urgent care. From the moment he walked in, dr. acted like he was being bothered. He was unconcerned with the reasons my husband was there to be seen for. Absolutely, horrific experience with his lack of caring or medical attention and attitude. From the reviews I have see, Dr. Quigley should not be practicing! Will never be seen by this dr again!

Dr. Quigley was attentive and clear with his words and actions. Despite being blunt he delivered an accurate diagnosis and helped my family and I a great amount.
