Dr. Brian D. Rinker, MD

Do NOT recommend. He left me permanently disfigured. Amazingly he lost my 'before" photos and never took the after photos because it was such a mess up. This was a simple chin implant that when I woke up from surgery he went in to place the implant through my mouth instead of under my chin. The implant is too large for my face, crooked and you can see and feel the sides of the implant on each side of my mandible as it was placed too low. He may be good at hand surgery but he should not be performing other plastic surgeries. I was butchered and changed my smile/my life. So unhappy.....

Clearly this "doctor" is overwhelmed. Rude, disrespectful, uncaring and worst of all, left me more scarred from an attempt at a nipple reconstruction. I am permanently disfigured. If he couldn't do it, he should have said so. Unwilling to help or offer any other solution. The Mayo Clinic is supposedly the best of the best. "Dr." Rinker does not belong there. He should go back to work at whatever mill he came from.

The staff and Dr. Rinker was wonderful. He answered all of my questions and gave all test that needed to be given for both breast and my hand surgeries. I received excellent care before, during and after surgery. I want to thank the staff and Dr. Rinker for being so good to me.

I highly recommend Dr. Rinker because he did breast augmentation surgery on me and you can't see the scar! He's a caring doctor and took time with me to explain everything. I will go back to Dr. Rinker when it's time to switch out my implants.

I had emergency surgery so did not choose a Dr. And if I had he would not be it. When released from hospital made 2 calls in 2 days to nurses and NEVER got a call back! At first follow up appt. was scheduled @ 8am and asked to come later due to an 80 mile drive and was told no.... But was never taken back to a room for 2 1/2 hrs. Was still very uncomfortable from surgery but he didn't seem to care and didn't seem to have the time for questions etc., seems like a very cold indifferent person!

An absolute nightmare. I do not reccommend Dr. Rinker

Dr. Rinker is a superb plastic surgeon. He has a caring and warm bedside manner and a dedicated staff. He has had world-class training and it shows. I had a terrific experience from beginning to end and have referred him to all my friends.

What I don't care for about Dr. Rinker:1. He flubbed my surgery and had to reoperate.2. Long wait time in his office and for surgery.3. Takes days to get call-backs.4. Takes forever to get surgery scheduled.5. He seemed indifferent to me. I wish I would have gone elsewhere ... to someone who acted as if he/she cared.
