Dr. Brian Tyson Rust

I have lived in Portland my entire life. My wife, Marcia, is a registered nurse, and we have two grown children. Jeff works in sports radio and television and Brian is a dentist who also works in this practice. We have two Himalayans, Winston and Bentley, and two Golden Doodles, Murphy and Izzy. In my spare time I enjoy woodworking, tinkering in my workshop, trying to keep up with the yard work, playing with my pets, and exploring the Pacific Northwest in my RV.

Meet Dr. Brian T. Rust
My profession means everything to me. I get a chance to help people on a daily basis and I get to teach people how to help themselves. Everyday and every patient presents a unique challenge, solvable by an ever-changing set of materials. Who doesn't like a good challenge? And working with our staff of more than 20 people sometimes feels more like hanging out than going to work. The most important part of practicing dentistry to me is the ethics required to do this job right. …People have to be able to trust their dentist. Relationships are an important part of dentistry, and when patients know that their primary dentist, whom they have placed their trust in, has cared enough to learn how to solve different types of problems, they know that their dentist really cares about them as an individual. Outside the Office
I currently reside in Beaverton with my wife, Cristina, who is also a dentist, having graduated from dental school in 2010. Our daughter, Julia, is 15. We are cat lovers with two Himalayans, Bella and Teddy. When I’m not in the office I enjoy soccer, golf, tailgating at Duck football games, reading, and tennis.
