Brian D Sass, DMD PC
Brian Sass is originally from Carson City, Nevada. He began his educational career at the University of Nevada, Reno where he earned his Bachelor's of Science with an emphasis on Health Sciences. During this period he gained a strong connection with the local dental community. Brian was active in dental awareness programs in such areas as the YWCA New Mothers Division.
Brian attended our very own Oregon Health Sciences University and earned his Doctorate in Medical Dentistry. With special interests in surgery, he continued his education through a residency with the VA Hospital in San Diego, California. Brian completed rotations in the oral surgery, anesthesiology, head and neck, endodontic, prosthodontic and general dentistry departments of the hospital. Brian is certified in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and maintains a license in deep sedation practices. Brian's training has given him the opportunity to expand his technical abilities in the most difficult of …clinical situations.
Missing the amazing Northwest, Brian returned to Portland where he has been fortunate to practice dentistry with a devoted and deeply caring dental team. His skill and dedicated work ethic makes him a strong ally to his patients and community. Brian is a member of the American Dental Association, Oregon Dental Association and the Multnomah County Dental Society. He stays current in dentistry through continuing education and participates in a Southeast Portland Study Club.  Brian is a contributor to the Oaks Bottom Lions Club and works with Compassions SE's non-profit dental clinics. In his spare time, Brian enjoys restoring his early-century home excited to turn something from being worn out to beautiful again and he and his wife, Katie, enjoy spending time outdoors with their Bernese mountain dog.  You may catch him riding his vintage motorcycle in the neighborhood; however, he is mostly content relaxing at home with his new baby girl, Geneva.
