Dr. Brian Jay Shimkus, MD

Dr. Ruinous knows his stuff. When he recommends treatment protocols he tells you exactly what the statistics are for improving life expectancy. He tells you the options and let's you make the decision while pushing for the most aggressive treatment you can tolerate well. If someone is looking for someone to hold their hand and spend an hour talking to them, Dr. Think is is probably not for you. He"s kind and has humor but he's a "stick to the facts" kind of guy who never sits down. I appreciate that about him. He has lives to save. The only negative is that his practice is growing and there has been more waiting lately and not enough seating in the waiting area.

Not a compassionate doctor. Seems to care more about "making the sale" than doing what is actually best for his patients.

I've been battling lung Cancer for a year and a half. Some bumps along the way, but things are looking better now. Unfortunately, treatment is not an exact science, but Dr. Shimkus is doing what appears to be working best.

He gives explanations about why he's doing whatever.
