That's what makes Dr. Smolarz different -- within the first few minutes of meeting me, he told me that he likes complex cases, and I immediately felt encouraged. He took the time to pore through years of blood work with me, explain the results more thoroughly than the doctors who had ordered the tests, and identify gaps that warranted further testing. The whole time, he was attentive, empathetic, and sharp. After years of my "Medical Mystery Tour," I'm finally feeling hopeful again that I'll find answers.
