Intelligent, compassionate, skilled, caring and understanding. My surgical experience with him left me with great affection for him a a surgeon and person. His staff is exceptional never missing an opportunity to check with my post surgical recovery. I was truly blessed with choosing such a talented man. I will forever hold him with the highest esteem.

Total neglect as a "doctor" sent letter to Medical Board. Totally misdiagnosed, next day went to Ellis Hospital for emergency surgery

I’m extremely happy and satisfied with Dr. Valerian. He performed my surgery with excellent results. He’s very knowledgeable and courteous. I’m very happy with the results. I’d been suffering for over a decade. He resolved the problem.

Dr. Valerian was my doctor for an anal fissure that I had several years ago. He also has done two colonoscopies for me during the past several years. I would absolutely recommend this doctor to anyone. He is extremely skilled and knowledgeable and also has the compassionate personality. He has often taken the time necessary to alleviate any concerns I had regarding any procedures, tests, etc. You would be in good hands with this doctor for sure.

10 years ago he did an emergency operation on me. I have not been right since. He would not help me with follow up care. He did something wrong. I have had IBS type symptoms since he removed a benign polyp. Bouts of sudden diaherrah, gas, belching. I feel so gross and miserable. I was better off before he operated. When I had difficulties post op after hospital release, he refused to work with me to find a way to work around them to get care I should have. Because of my nightmare experience with Dr. Valerian, it has taken me 10 years to find the courage to follow-up and I still face it with dread and the fear that I'm making a big mistake. He is a horrible doctor. I can only hope he's improved with experience since he was so young when they stuck me with him in the ER but I still shudder at the memory of him.
