The PA administers a normal, typical, do-it-all-the-time procedure that requires pre-authorization without disclosing that. Also doesn't disclose the ($250) procedure will then be denied by insurance.

Well I have been arguing with their office accounting staff for months. Watch your wallet. This P.A. that works for Dr. Weeks (Weeks is way too busy to see a simple CPAP client) NEVER disclosed the fact that although they routinely do an arthroscopic exam of the inside of your nose...they do it as a normal part of their CPAP pre-exam and that procedure is considered SURGERY! And as such, must be pre-approved or the insurance will not cover it. The cost? Oh just $300 pure out of pocket. And do they tell you that? NO. Do they even give you the option to decline it? NO. They just jump in, do it fully knowing it's not part of the normal exam code for insurance and they fully know the Insurance never covers it. They RIP you off 100% Find another provider that is honest and full disclosure.

I've been a patient of Dr Weeks for many years, I'm leaving feedback for my overall/care experience throughout this time. I've had two major outpatient procedures (1.) Adult tonsillectomy/uvulectomy and 2.) septoplasty with obligatory port/polish work) procedures and continue to see him for a periodic in office turbinate reduction procedure. Both procedures were game changers, so to speak in improving my health from chronic, debilitating throat/sinus infections that only responded briefly to antibiotic regimens. The smoothest outpatient procedures I've had in my life were by Dr. Weeks, he's incredible at his trade craft. He's also a caring/attentive person, a great physician with genuine customer service. The apple does not fall far from the tree, I was a patient of this father before he retired, also an excellent physician and caring, genuine person. The in office turbinate reduction procedure has also been a game changer in keeping me sinus infection free for the past 5 years. I'm… allergic to everything, and have always had limited response to allergy medication and nasal sprays. I recently had the turbinate reduction procedure for the 3rd time and it's become nearly painless. If you fall in the chronic allergy, sinus issue group like me, I'd consider/inquire about this procedure. I do not leave many reviews but this one is certainly long due and well warranted. I can't imagine a better ear/nose/throat physician than Dr Weeks, skilled and caring. I'm always thankful I landed in his care.

This. Is one comforting exceptionally professional dr. I'm about to get surgery and I am thrilled can't wait to breathe again.

I have been going to dr week's for 7 years and he did my surgeries both deviated septum and removed a cyst and he is the best Doctor hand's down.

I flew to San Diego several times to see Dr. Weeks because he is worth it. I live in Utah. Saw 6 Ent's here, some specialists. None could diagnose my sinus problems or fix them. Dr. Weeks, did. I read comments about having to wait an hour in his office.... I flew from Utah? San Diego is fortunate to have an amazing dr like him.

Very, very poor doctor. Save your time and money and keep searching. Or call Scripps for a recommendation for an ENT. The office staff are like teenangers, everyone works part time, then they close for two hours for lunch. Good luck getting anything scheduled or follow-up phone calls. You end up working harder than the staff to get appointments scheduled, surgery scheduled or diagnostic testing scheduled. The doctor is average, not brilliant like he is portrayed to be. Horrible wait time every time you go in, over an hour usually closer to two hours. Seriously, nothing super great about this doctor and especially not his office/staff. My personal view, if my time is absolutely not important to Dr. Weeks or his staff, then I would prefer to go to an ENT, whose values my buisness. Move along folks, and keep looking for a better ENT, because there is absolutely nothing to rave about with this doctor or office.

I would and have already recommended Dr. Weeks to friends and family. I have to say he is everything you want in a doctor. I was so impressed with his knowledge, caring and concern for me. My daughter went in the room with me and said mom he is a very good doctor. He was in no hurry. He explained everything and before I left the office he made sure that I understood everything. Thank you Dr. Weeks.

My overall experience with Dr. Weeks was excellent. He spent a good amount of time with me & I was surprised his bedside manner was excellent. I was a little nervous on my first visit but felt very comfortable after I left his office. The staff was so nice.
