Problem Overbilling. ER doc who talked to me for 10 minutes from across the room, ordered EKG and chest Xray, came back later to tell me that they were fine and I could go home. Then billed $1700 for his "service" on top of what the hospital ER charged (who actually performed the tests) and the Radiologist charged (who actually ready the Xray). He is a doc with US Acute Care Solutions, who first abandons a chat and says someone one will call back (which they do not), then sends a ton of reminder texts to which you cannot reply, and then after calling the number provided on the bill and you wait on hold for 15 minutes tells you that doctors work very hard behind the scenes doing paperwork and things that you don't see (tells me he prescribed meds, which he did not. Tells me that he performed a flu test, which he did not) and that you can request the medical records from the hospital. Unbelievable.
