Dr Wiatrak saved my life and I am forever thankful

My daughter was born with a condition and has been an ENT patient her entire life. Dr. Wiatrak performed an unnecessary surgery on my child that isn't even recommended for a child with her condition and subsequently ruined her speaking ability. When I noticed her speech was damaged after surgery he didn't even want to meet with me and when he finally did, he just shrugged his shoulders and referred me to another doctor and didn't even bother to apologize even though my daughter is now facing a tenth surgery due to his mistake.

I would recommend him to anyone, very dedicated to his job as well as his children....

This doctor is very knowledgable but had no bedside manner on any visit or surgical experience (3 visits, 2 surgical procedures in 3 months before we transferred care to a different doctor.) He blatantly lied to me about my child's care, and was very demeaning to me as a parent that even has medical experience. If your child has a rare diagnosis, which mine does, he might be worth the risk, but if you just need tubes in your child's ears I highly recommend looking for another qualified doctor.

Aftter my youngest daughter going through multiple ear surgeries for tube placements and irragations, in Montgomery. I decided to use Dr. Witrak, my husband and I have been pleased ever since with his procedures done. Office staff is wonderful.

Dr. Wiatrak knows he is one of a very few pediatric ENTs in the area. He even specifically said this. Both my spouse and I are educators. Dr. Wiatrak spoke to us as though we were not worthy of his time. We were referred to him for tubes. Those office visits went fairly well. The follow up visit one year later and our latest visit to his office weren't so successful. After being referred by our pediatrician, Dr. Wiatrak basically refused to do a CT scan for our child to help get some answers. We were very insistent. Results? Dr. Wiatrak had to "eat crow" a little when he called with the results. Very rude to us in the office. The reception personnel are about the only ones with a good bedside manner. What a shame!

I was a patient of Dr. Wiatrak for over 15 years. He has to be one of the best, if not the best, doctors I have ever met. He treated me and my family with nothing but respect and kindness. Only recently have I changed doctors due to my age. Dr. Wiatrak will forever be in my heart.
