Ready to leave after an hour and a half, he and nurse come in , she is almost in tears, I said I was just leaving no one even came in to keep me updater, he barked at the nurse "you should let patients know" he gave me 2 minutes and made me feel I was wasting his time. WILL NEVER EVER COME BACK TO THIS DR

I never got a chance he is not there anymore don't know why

So disgusted with the Doctor. I waited for an hour and he literally gave me 5 -7 minutes of his time. He said I have Neuroma and I had the option of getting ortho inserts, an injection (of what? I don't know, he didn't say) or I can talk to his partner about having surgery. I chose inserts. As he was standing in the hall leaving the room- I asked what causes this and he replied - "too tight of shoes, it's in the pamphlet I gave you". Funny - cause I can move my toes in my shoes with no problems. My blood pressure was high - 154/114 and not he or the nurse questioned me on it. Perhaps he just wanted my money?

Very kind physician, knows what he is doing! He is someone you can actually TRUST!

Dr. Wittenberg has a gentle, approachable, and affable manner. He made sure all my questions were answered prior to- and after surgery. He is an excellent surgeon and well-respected in our medical community.

Dr. Wittenberg fixed my right hip 6 weeks ago yesterday. simply put, he gave me my life back. I admire and wish to thank him, so I am on the internet searching out his name and placing the highest praise on every website I can find that takes physician reviews. Dr. Wittenberg is top shelf in my estimation!

84 yr old father,hip a mess. Surgery very successful. Dr. Courteous and skillful. Did dad's other hip 10 years ago. Entire staff at NiMH very good. Would give 10 stars if I could.

I've never had such a bad experience with a doctor or felt more like a number so he could bill my insurance for his time (all of 7-8 minutes given I waited almost an hour past my appointment). After a quick look at an x-ray he recommended a shot to my knee and became quite arrogant when I questioned the side effects of high blood sugar and chest pain as I'm a diabetic with heart disease. His response? "Just go to the ER if you feel dizzy". He never asked one question about the level of pain I'd experience, how it was impacting my life, whether or not I'd fallen, etc. It was obvious he has little regard for his patients. Thanks but no thanks, I'll be scheduling an appointment with a new ortho asap. I wouldn't recommend this physician to anyone.
