Dr. Brian Lawrence Young, MD

It takes a long time to get scheduled for a well check. The staff is less than courteous. Dr Young is nice and takes time to listen to kids, but I find him condescending with the parents.

Dr. Young is an excellent doctor and always takes the time to listen to and address all of my concerns. When I call after hours he calls right back. To the mom who called him lazy because her daughter had too much wax in her ears, maybe you should be a more responsible parent and not let wax build up in your daughter's ears to the point where the doctor can't even see into her ears. You can do other things besides using Qtips.

my child was a patient there. I thought she might of had an ear infection because she had a fever . Dr. Young looked at her ears and said she had too much wax and he couldn't see if she had an ear infection. I don't use use qtips anymore because the last time he told me the same thing. My child is just one who accumulates a lot of ear wax. Dr. Young didn't do anything to look in her ears and ordered us to have a white blood count test. The test came back negative. I noticed my child still sick. I later learned that a WBC test doesn't tell us if she has an ear infection. I decided to go to another doctor who removed the ear wax and discovered a really bad ear infection. My child had an ear infection all along.

After transferring my records to this office since he was closer to home, I have had to call several (5) times to try and schedule a simple well child check for my children. They have said they were going to call me back to schedule when records were received but never called back. i spoke to the doctor about my concerns and he said I could have looked on my immunization card to check my daughters shots and if she need a well check instead of waiting for his office to call back.Then he said he would transfer my records out of the office since I was dissatisified how this situation was handled, instead of appoligizing he put the blame on me! How'a that for service? If you are looking to be ignored then I would suggest this place.

I've been going to Dr. Young for about 3 years and has been the best doctor I've had. He cares so much about his patients and spends time to get the full picture of what's going on. I recently been diagnosed with fybromyalgia and from beginning he's helped with everything he can. A lot of doctors only come in for a few seconds and could care less but he is just so phenemonal!

Dr Young is great, laid back and easy to talk to. He's able to reassure first time parents (as we are) and put us at ease. Easy to get in with same day appointments if something comes up, he also works at Good Night Pediatrics Urgent Care - so with after hour emergencies we go there instead of the hospital.Little to no wait times - and courteous staff.

We were referred to Dr. Young by a close girlfriend soon before our son was born, we were worried about finding him a great pediatrician with the smarts and nurturting attitude to go with it. We found that and so much more with Dr. Young. Our son has gerd AKA reflux and as first time parents we were dramatic and scared, calling the office at least four times a week,but Dr. Young returned every phone call always timely, he was very calming and understanding. He is patient and spends time listening to your questions and concerns and truly seems to care about the children and the parents sanity. It almost feels as if your child is the only he see's with the quality and time of service you receive. Dr. Young and his nurse Veronica make you feel welcomed and cared for, sometimes there is a joke or too which always makes for a great sense of friendship. I love Young Pediatrics and I am so glad my girlfriend referred him.

At first I was a little skeptical, b/c Dr. Young was "young".....but wow he took his time with both my kids and was able to correctly diagnose my child who was suffering from really bad constipation and was admitted that same day...something other doctors had overlooked...I'm very pleased with Dr. Young and so glad we found him :)

I'm very pleased with Dr. Young and his staff. Each person from his staff has went above and beyond in one way or another to help me and my children to make things smooth and easy.Dr. Young has a great bedside manner with all three of my kiddos and with me. He takes his time to explain the diagnosis to me. He does not rush me and allows me to ask as many questions as I want. If there has been a problem I can call the office and have my question answered. I have a child with special needs that needs to have close medical supervision. A previous medical provider completely missed several of her medical conditions. It has taken me a long time to feel comfortable with another doctor and to trust in the doctor. I appreciate that doctor Young is willing to research my childs rare condition to make sure that he is familiar with her condition so that she is well cared for. This gives me some since of security. I'm glad to have him on our team.
