Dr. Brian Scott Ziegler, MD

his staffer when making the appointment that I had recent ones from Cape Canaveral Hospital (2 weeks old). She insisted on taking more x-rays. I was led back to the rail car, and bang zoom not more than 30 minutes after that young Dr. Ziegler entered. Except he was a wizened gent on the North side of 60. He told me there was nothing he could do and he wouldn’t be prescribing Synvisc knee gel injections, because I wasn’t “In any pain.” I had been clear from jump street that I was looking for an orthopedic office that does administer Synvisc. I may not have pain from sitting around for over 2 hours I explained, but after walking throughout the course of a day I am barely able to bend my knees. He was combative and basically said I was doomed and there was no hope for me unless I get both knees replaced. After this back and forth for 10 minutes where he continued to make me feel like the glue factory was my only choice, he finally relented to put me out of my misery and said he… would order Synvisc. I paid $271 for this. I was told the Synvisc would arrive in 2 weeks and they would call me. Well here we are gentle readers—1 month later, no call. Patient consider yourself forewarned, Commandant Ziegler has no business being in medicine. *One thing I have to point out here—the phony pictures of Dr. Ziegler. They are everywhere on his brochures and in a framed plaque in his lobby. I thought to myself, wow her must be right out of med school because he looks late 20’s.

The Office Manager is extremely unprofessional and could care less about you as a patient. I needed a prior authorization for an appt that I tried to schedule several weeks ago. I was told by office staff they would get the authorization and contact me back to schedule the appt and they never did. When I explained to the office manager that the staff didn't follow through, not only did she not apologize, she said it's "not their problem." They didn't even care enough to give me a courtesy call back. He is a good doctor but his staff, in particular the office manager Lindsay, provide terrible patient/customer service. I will not be going back.

First visit expect a stack of unfriendly, almost threatening paperwork. Doesn’t even try to make you feel welcome or valued Waiting 30 minutes to an hour after appointment to be seen. Reception staff ok but not particularly welcoming. Dr Ziegler seems competent and knowledgeable but stretched thin. I would not go back here

I have had several finger operations by Dr. Z and I've been happy with the results. Pain free. The staff has been very helpful, friendly and caring over the years. If you want a good surgeon.....Dr. Z is your guy.

Do not use this guy I have switched to a new Doctor who won't jerk me around, I'm a Commercial Truck Driver, thank God I didn't have the surgery done by him, filing Complaints against him at the medical board, You will be sorry using him.

Dr. Ziegler and his staff provided excellent care for my condition and their bed side manners are superior. Wonderful staff

Dr Ziegler was rude and treated me as a complete waste of time. He told me my knee can't be fixed and to "deal with it."

Excellent experience, he is smart, knowledgeable, affable, thorough, and professional. I strongly recommend him to others...I had a broken bone in my hand.

Dr. Ziegler explained everything about my condition and the treatment for it. I was fortunate that the injections and brace relieved my pain from the arthritis. Follow up was very informant on how long I could expect the injections to last and how often I could receive them if needed. He also explained the very last option will be surgery if the treatments do not work or last. He was very patient and pleasant not once did I feel he was rushing to get to the next patient, For a specialist I can tell you this was very re-ensuring that he cared.
