I have been a patient of Dr. Zunner for almost a decade. I have a very complex TMJ problem. Essentially the disks in the TMJ joint are disintegrated and are displaced. The result of this is that the mandible (lower jaw), which is very pointed where it meets the upper jar, has ground its way through the tendons and muscles located in that area. This causes me excruciating pain, the inability to eat anything hard or crispy, and cutting all food into small pieces. Dr. Zunner is an expert in this field and he has helped me tremendously! He has listened to my needs and had developed a treatment plan that finally provides me relief from the constant pain that I was in. In addition, his hygienist, Shannon, is aware of my problems and she is very gentle during her cleanings. Her wonderful personality helps asv well. I would highly recommend Dr. Zunner and his office, who combine knowledge and skill with caring abs understanding. It is not a "one size fits all" approach to dentistry!
