I am a senior and have worn contacts for about 30 years. I went to see Dr. Zembower and he rushed me through the exam. I told him I was not seeing as well as I had been and believed I needed a new prescription. He told me that was because I was old and to be expected. I disagree, even older folks benefit from a new RX and new glasses. He gave me a script for a lower power than before and did not give me an opportunity to even discuss anything else about my eyes. I also told him that they no longer made my old contacts and he put those out of date, not available contacts on my new RX. What a huge disappointment. Now since my insurance only covers one eye exam per year I have to pay out of pocket for another exam since this was counter productive for me and I need a new prescription for glasses and contacts so I can see better. I called his office and they assured me they would help with this situation but I never heard back from them.
