I was in for my 6 mo. checkup and in the meantime had been diagnosed with cancer at Moffitt Cancer Research center in Tampa. I was talking with Dr. Tompkins about the long drive there for all my testing etc. He said, I have someone local that confer with Moffitt. He make the arrangements for me to see Dr. Esper and I am so grateful. Saves me a long drive. Dr. Tompkins as been my doctor for at least 10 years, maybe longer. He takes time to go over any concerns I have, makes sure my meds are up to date. Goes over my blood work and any other tests in detail. He has never rushed me when I have had questions and is so very kind.

I am highly impressed w/ Dr Tompkins after trying to find someone good for YEARS! My neighbor actually did get discharged b/c they were seeing other primary care Dr's and shopping around. Once the trust is gone and you seek someone else I agree why an office would discharge you as that's the way it should be. I had a few issues and he addressed them all. I love his bedside manner, a very humble young man and a extremely pleasant to talk to. My neighbor was sad they can't get in to see him anymore but I guess they learned a lesson the hard way.

I had a stubborn illness and after going to another Dr. who was not helpful, I went to Dr. Tompkins. He took plenty of time with me and solved the problem for me to get well again.

The office is awful - no communication. Days to fill prescription. Dr. Tompkins is a great Dr but when you give a review that is not complimentary you receive a letter that he has discharged you. Very disappointed that they don't want to fix issues that are poor.

Requires way to much ego stroking. Hides behind the office skirts to cancel appointments and tell you to go to urgent care!

Dr. Tompkins goes above and beyond. He's is extremely understanding and always makes me feel confident in my care. Recently, I had sever back pain, he and staff were swift to have me come in and worked to give me relief. He also advised me on what would be the next follow through. I feel so fortunate to have him as my doctor.

Dr. Tompkins is caring, compassionate, and thorough. He is also very accurate and up to date on pharmaceutical knowledge. Really love having a Young doctor here in Bonita !
