My son was having severe discomfort for many months. We saw numerous physicians including ENTs and neurologists. No one could get him relief, just lots of tests and disappointment. Finally, we were referred to Dr. Lovell and she figured it out. He was finally able to get some relief and move on with his life. We are so grateful for Dr. Lovell and Yadi. Thank you!

It wasn't until we were referred to Dr. Lovell that she discovered he has TMJ--just not the traditional symptoms. He injections finally gave him much needed relief. The office staff, especially Yadi, are extremely helpful and caring of his needs. Thanks Dr. Lovell!

I went to Dr. Lovell for chronic migraines, and I was really frustrated by the lack of communication and disorganization. She doesn't have any system in place to call and discuss serious issues with medication. She doesn't have a patient portal, or a PA. Instead, one has to drag themselves in for an appointment, where she doesn't even discuss anything, just switches the medication to something else while you are in the exam room with her. As a patient with chronic migraine, I find this awful. Phone calls do not get returned, and my medication did not get called in for three weeks, so I desperately asked my PCP to write me a prescription. When I got my botox injections from her, she burst into the room, and just started injecting me without any assessment of my current treatment. It was a very bizarre experience. I decided that I had enough and went to see an Orofacial specialist at Cedars, where he thoroughly discussed my treatment options, and suggested a great deal of things I could… you help myself. I never experienced this with Dr. Lovell. Unfortunately, Cedars doesn't take my insurance, but I now see a neurologist who only treats migraines, and the communication there is fantastic. I can't really recommend De. Lovell if you suffering from chronic migraine.

Dr. Lovell is extremely skilled in her professional skill and demeanor. Her front office staff in Ojai very helpful.
